March Madness has descended on the country. The biggest basketball event in the country started on Thursday. There is another kind of March Madness going on in the country and it is not a good one. That madness is the embracing of communistic socialism by various Democratic politicians.
Among the mob of Dems embracing this madness are Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and Bernie Sanders. They are both keen supporters of communism. They hide behind labels like Democratic Socialist. But they are communists at heart. Bernie Sanders spent his honeymoon in Russia and has never held a private sector job.
Sanders has long been a supporter of government control of everything. His Medicare for all would bankrupt the country while degrading the quality of care most people would receive. AOC’s Green New Deal would require a complete takeover of the entire US economy in order to even try to bring it to fruition.
Their agenda is to control everything that people do and think via the government. As the poster below says, these kinds of ideas have led to mass murder and genocide around the world.
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, the literary giant who wrote about the Soviet gulag system, claimed the true number of Stalin’s victims might have been as high as 60 million. Most other estimates from historians tend to range from between 20 and 60 million. Stalin killed all these people trying to keep control of his communistic country. And it did not work.
Hitler annihilated 6 million Jews as well as countless others in his quest to impose a New World Order. And it failed.
Mao Tse-Tung instituted the Cultural Revolution. It chalked up the lives of several million people and inflicted cruel and inhuman treatments on a hundred million. Today China is moving in a different direction. And the list goes on and on.
A variety of estimates put the number of people killed by communistic regimes during the 20thcentury at over 100 million. How many more millions will die if Sanders or AOC is successful in getting ultimate power?
A successful and prosperous society cannot be built around massive control by the government. Perhaps it is time for Americans to send Sanders and AOC a message. Wake up and smell the roses. Capitalism is the answer to raising people up out of poverty. Capitalism is the answer to reducing inequality. PDJT is proving this every day.
