On Sunday ABC News ran dramatic video footage of a Kurdish town under bombardment by Turkish forces just one week after PDJT announced the withdrawal of some 50 American troops stationed between Turkish Forces and the Kurds who had fought beside us against ISIS. Good Morning America repeated the story on Monday.
ABC News anchor Tom Llamas aired the “shocking”images, with the caption “SLAUGHTER IN SYRIA.”
“The situation rapidly spiraling out of control in northern Syria. One week since President Trump ordered U.S. forces out of that region, effectively abandoning America’s allies in the fight against [the Islamic State],” Llamas said.
“This video right here appearing to show Turkey’s military bombing Kurd civilians in a Syrian border town,” Llamas breathlessly continued. “The Kurds, who fought alongside the U.S. against ISIS. Now, horrific reports of atrocities committed by Turkish-backed fighters on those very allies.”

The problem? The video was actually from a nighttime weapons demonstration at the Knob Creek Gun Range in West Point, Kentucky. Apparently this is something the gun range does from time to time and usually has a significant audience.
ABC News received the clip from an “anonymous source.” Really? Hope they have a receipt for what they paid the “anonymous source.” They decided that creating a story about human rights atrocities that they could lay at the feet of PDJT was the way forward.
Rush Limbaugh was not amused.
Limbaugh asked, “How did it get past your editing process in the first place? … You people weren’t even suspicious?”
Limbaugh went on,
“They don’t need any sources anymore. They don’t need any identifiable sources. They don’t even need any proof. They just need somebody to be the fall guy that they can lay it all off on as the anonymous source.”
“This is full-fledged illusion creation. This is lying to news customers.”
“So ABC News uses video from 2017 and then tries to pass it off as Turkey bombing the Kurds in Syria. Now, why would they do this? They do it for one reason. They’re trying to nail Donald Trump. They’re trying to say that mass murder is occurring, and it’s Trump’s fault — and this is not anything new. Faking video, editing video, editing 9-1-1 calls.”
Keep in mind this is ABC International News using footage from a Kentucky gun exhibition and passing it off as attack footage in Syria. As Rush Limbaugh noted, where was ABC News editorial review prior to broadcast? This is not a mistake. ABC News has been caught purposefully creating “Fake News”.
This is just like the impeachment hoax that is going on in the House right now. Make stuff up and blame the President. This is evil run amuck. And this is saying nothing about the CNN debacle that Project Veritas is exposing.
Of course, once the proverbial cat was out of the bag, ABC News issued the standard “ABC News regrets the error” message. Actually they regret that they got caught.
The Washington Examiner reported,
It is astonishing that ABC appears to have inserted Kentucky gun range footage into its prime-time news segments on the clashes in Syria and that no one at the network — not a producer, not a fact-checker, and certainly not an on-air personality — caught the errors before they aired.
It is NOT astonishing! It is all part and parcel of the attempt to convince the country that PDJT is incompetent, that he is putting the country’s security at risk, and therefore, must be impeached. Again, ABC’s misuse of the video clip wasn’t an error. Rather it was deliberately foisted upon the public to advance a story line on impeachment.
There are many people that I talk with today who find it difficult to comprehend the levels of corruption within the media. Virtually everything that the MSM reports is a lie if it is about PDJT and his supporters. It really has come to that. They are all in to defeat PDJT. They simply cannot stand the fact that PDJT stands up for America and that he values American treasure and the lives of all Americans.
A big scandal at @ABC News. They got caught using really gruesome FAKE footage of the Turks bombing in Syria. A real disgrace. Tomorrow they will ask softball questions to Sleepy Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, like why did Ukraine & China pay you millions when you knew nothing? Payoff?

What is the real story here? Erdogan is urgently asking for the U.S. to mediate peace negotiations with Kurdish forces. This request happened immediately after President Trump signed an executive order [See Here] triggering the sanction authority of Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
After President Trump talked to Kurdish General Mazloum Kobani Abdi, the commander of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces, President Trump then discussed the options available to President Erdogan. As a result of that conversation, Erdogan requested the U.S. mediate negotiations. Vice-President Mike Pence has announced that he will be traveling to the region with National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien to lead that effort.
So, rather than creating a situation where the Kurds were slaughtered, PDJT has caused Turkey to come to the table to talk with the Kurds. Is that incompetency? Is ABC News on top of this story? Of course, those who profit from war are not happy.
Once again, the truth is 180 degrees from where the media would like to lead us.
