Fiasco In Iowa

What were the Democrats thinking?  For the first time in the memory of most residents in Iowa, the Des Moines Register did not publish the results of their final poll leading into the caucuses.  The stated reason was that there were “technical difficulties.”  Most people with two working brain cells saw something else.

This appeared to be another attempt by the media and the DNC to blunt the momentum that is building for Bernie Sanders.  Combining this with the fact that the DNC recently changed their debate qualification rules to allow Mike Bloomberg to be on stage, there seems to be a clear strategy emerging from the DNC to once again rig the primaries against Bernie Sanders.  Bloomberg has personally donated money to the DNC.  Bloomberg has assured the DNC of substantial additional funding if he does not win the nomination.  In essence, Bloomberg is buying his way into the DNC.

This follows the pattern of every other narrative that the Left uses.  Develop a story to promote the desired outcome.  In this case the desired outcome is to deny Sanders the nomination.   To accomplish this, they need to deceive the public.  The Democrats cannot afford to have poll results showing growing support for Sanders.  Ergo, “technical difficulties” prevented the release of Des Moines Register’s poll results.  The objective is always the same; hoodwink the public.

However, the coup de grace was “technical difficulties” preventing the release of the results of the Iowa caucuses on Monday night.  This dovetails well with this strategy.  Multiple candidates have now gone onto New Hampshire saying they won the Iowa caucuses.  By the time the results are released, the usual bump of enthusiasm and energy a candidate receives will have withered on the vine.

And who was behind the app that was supposed to collect and transmit the results?  As reported by Andy Meek,

Veterans of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaigns have been linked to the creation of this app, including Shadow CEO Gerard Niemira. His LinkedIn page identifies him as a former “director of product” during Clinton’s 2016 presidential run. Shadow’s CTO is Krista Davis, whose LinkedIn page identifies her as a former “staff backend software engineer” for Clinton during the 2016 campaign.

So former Clinton operatives created the app used here.  And Clinton recently blasted Sanders as Allan Smith over at NBC noted,

But, keep in mind, folks, nothing to see here.   Everything is on the up and up according to the Democrats.  Right…Anyone who actually believes this may have been imbibing the fruit of the vine a bit too much.

The Democratic base was not buying it.

Monica Showalter over at American Thinker reports,

The Democrats want people to believe they can run the government.  Probably they can…right into the ground.

This is succinct.

This was a Schiff show.  Lie, cheat and do whatever it takes by any means necessary to get the result you want.  This is the modern Democratic Party.

Now the DNC has come in and taken over the tabulating of the results.  One has to ask why?  It wouldn’t be create a narrative about the results, would it?  ABC reporter Kendall Karson reported, “One Democratic official I spoke to is being told that the DNC is “taking over” the accounting of results. The official said this that to their knowledge, this has never happened before.”

The DNC chose what partial results (62%), from what locations, showing what outcomes, the DNC wants to put forth. Put another way, the DNC is releasing a specific 62% of the result to generate a specific Iowa narrative.  This is to diminish Bernie Sanders.

Here was the actual popular vote of the 62%.  Notice the Biden collapse.  The Democrats will try to hide this until they can find a candidate they can use against Sanders.

Time to get some popcorn.  It is going to be fun to watch.
