On Thursday the media reported that PDJT had suggested the possibility of “injecting” disinfectant into a person to treat COVID-19. The media immediately went into attack mode to smear the President. Calling PDJT “irresponsible” to suggest such a treatment was one of the milder comments. They also lied when they said that the President has repeatedly tried to get the public to try “unproven” treatments.
Dr. Vin Gupta, a pulmonologist, global health policy expert and an NBC News and MSNBC contributor said,
“This notion of injecting or ingesting any type of cleansing product into the body is irresponsible and it’s dangerous. It’s a common method that people utilize when they want to kill themselves.”
How nice of Dr. Gupta to mention this on air. How many people who are thinking about suicide will now use this method? Just how irresponsible was Dr. Gupta’s statement?
Democrats jumped on board. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said the president and other Republicans “reject science.” Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., a member of House Democratic leadership, tweeted Friday that “something is very wrong” with the president.
The President suggested injecting Lysol into the human body to treat #COVID19.
Something is very wrong with this guy.

PDJT never suggested that Lysol or any other cleaning product should be injected. This is just a bald-faced lie by Rep. Jeffries. But this is what the Democrats do over and over. They do not exaggerate . They just out and out lie.
This appears to be another attempt to lay the groundwork for an impeachment effort that would be led by Jim Clyburn (D-SC) in the new House Oversight Committee. Or the other option Jeffries may be going for is removal via the 25th amendment.
What did the President say?
Bill Bryan, who leads the Department of Homeland Security’s science and technology division, gave a presentation on research his team has conducted. That research shows that the virus doesn’t live as long in warmer and more humid temperatures. Bryan also said, “The virus dies quickest in sunlight.”
This prompted PDJT to think out loud.
“So supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it’s ultraviolet or just a very powerful light — and I think you said that hasn’t been checked because of the testing. And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or some other way, and I think you said you’re going to test that, too.”
Trump went on to say,
“I see the disinfectant that knocks it out in a minute, one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning? As you see, it gets in the lungs, it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.”
What was the President doing here? Anyone, who is not afflicted with a deep-seated hatred for the man, would recognize right away that this was a brainstorming moment. The President was prompting people to think outside the box as to possible ways the virus might be defeated. PDJT was not in any way suggesting that people should inject themselves with disinfectant. Only people with a bad case of TDS would see it that way.

So as a Respiratory Therapist….I watched the clip about the “disinfectant that Trump talking about”. People need to listen closely….and before I say this, I will tell you that I am not registered to vote and I don’t vote. I am neutral.
He is basically brain storming for an idea to help the lungs. He stated that the disinfectant kills the virus in one minute, so he proposed the question can we inject disinfectant (not Lysol), he used the word “disinfectant” …in the lungs, but that is for the doctors to figure out. Now a lay person like Trump will say disinfectant and a medical person would say “medicine”.
Medicine dumped into the lungs happens all the time! I personally have dumped respiratory medicine down an Endotracheal tube directly into the lungs. When babies are born prematurely, guess what? Yes we “inject” the lungs with a medicine called surfactant that helps keep the alveoli open to oxygenate the lungs. Antibiotics are sometimes injected into infected parts of lungs through a chest tube.
So what I want the general public to know, is that we do “inject” medicine into peoples lungs, that yes act like a disinfectant (antibiotics), so why is everyone in uproar over this? If you are a lay person and don’t understand what he said then ask a medical person.
His statement was so twisted around and misinterpreted, and this is coming from a Respiratory Therapist that has injected medicine in peoples lungs. Lysol brand has perpetrated misinformation and panicked the general public who doesn’t know anything about lungs. And Trump never used the word “Lysol”. So why did Lysol brand think he was talking about them, that’s narcissistic on their part. Why would Lysol brand embrace that? they look ignorant. So people, yes we do inject medicine into lungs.
So this professional easily understood what the President was trying to do. Why didn’t Dr. Gupta, a supposed pulmonary expert? Why didn’t the other health experts on the MSM networks? I am sure that if someone on these networks had ventured in that direction, they would probably be looking for a new job now.
It is also interesting to note that a UV light treatment for COVID-19 patients is actually under development. So, while the media is denigrating PDJT for his comments, there is an actual light treatment in the testing phase. Last week, the bio-tech firm Aytu BioScience announced they are partnering with the FDA and Cedars-Sinai on a UV light treatment to kill the coronavirus in intubated patients. The company had posted a video showing how they might attack the virus with UV light.
It should be noted that this video was taken down at the instigation of a NYTimes reporter. NYTimes reporter Davey Alba posted several tweets Friday night about his successful efforts to get YouTube to take down videos. This was clearly done because the video would have knocked the stuffings out of those who were trying to mock the President.
“I contacted YouTube about this video, which is being shared on tons of replies on Twitter & on Facebook, by people asserting that it backs up Trump’s idea throwing it out there that UV rays kill coronavirus. YouTube just said it removed it for violating its community guidelines.”
So once again the media are engaging in the creation of fake news. However, this time they have shown themselves to be anti-science as well (along with the Democrats). Not only that but they have also shown themselves to be enemies of the American people. It is clear that they do not want an end to the current lockdowns that are killing the economy and that they are not interested in saving American lives. Their only goal is to destroy the Trump presidency.
