Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) hit an absolute home run when he spoke at the RNC.
Scott talked about Opportunity Zones that have brought millions of dollars of PRIVATE investment money into distressed communities. Scott spoke about school choice, the only real solution to providing a quality education to all children.
Being a former small business owner, Scott discussed the need for a tax code that is fair to all but especially to those who invest in their community. Scott noted that the tax code changes enacted in 2017 actually increased tax revenues while lowering the amounts of money taken out of everyone’s paycheck by the government. Despite Nancy Pelosi’s comment about “crumbs” this was important to most Americans.
Scott related how he got elected in an overwhelmingly white congressional district. He talked about how America bends toward fairness over and over.
Scott related how PDJT has built the most inclusive economy ever, about how all Americans are benefitting.
Scott went to categorize the differences between PDJT and Joe Biden. And there are many.
About one such difference, Scott noted,

I’m serious — that’s one of their solutions for the pandemic. They want more money from your pocket…going to help Manhattan elites and Hollywood moguls get a tax break.
Scott continued by talking about the Biden/Harris plan for pain and misery.
