Are the Democrats beginning to eat their own? Cuomo sailed through New York with nary a concern over the fact that he routinely groped, harassed and otherwise intimidated the female staffers in the state office. Now he is gone. What happened?
A state investigation showed that Governor Cuomo consistently forced kisses upon his female staff, groped their breasts and buttocks and repeatedly touched them inappropriately.
Despite the fact that he had done this for years, no hint of scandal had previously touched the governor. When complaints surfaced, his office retaliated. According to the investigators, the work environment in Cuomo’s office was “rife with fear and intimidation.”
How did he get away with this for so long? Cuomo survived because he faithfully carried water for all of the Left’s major policy items for years. Cuomo was widely hailed nationally for his detailed daily briefings and “leadership” during some of the darkest early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. There was even talk of Cuomo being a dark horse candidate in last year’s Democratic primaries.
If you are doing the bidding of the Deep State, they will find a way to protect you. And that is just what happened here. Let’s remember that Cuomo was directly responsible for the genocide of nursing home residents in NY. Again, despite the egregious nature of this, Cuomo appeared to have a Teflon shield. Nothing stuck to him.
All of a sudden, late last year, Governor Cuomo became persona non gratis. The NY State AG launched an investigation that actually had legs. Cuomo was defiant. But in the end he could not survive the onslaught of being cancelled by the Left.
It appears that Cuomo hung on until the “no criminal charges” announcement from the AG’s office that avoided prosecution. Someone outside the Governor’s sphere of influence decided Cuomo had to go. What is the real reason?
Let’s remember nothing happens by coincidence with the Democrats. Yesterday was the beginning of Mike Lindell’s three-day presentation on election fraud. Is Cuomo’s resignation an attempt to create a distraction, a smokescreen? Or does it presage how Biden might be removed from the Presidency before he starts drooling all over everybody?
Or is Obama’s crew clearing the decks of any potential rivals for 2024? What will happen in California in 21 days? Will another opponent to Obama’s crew go under? Where do Pelosi and Schumer fit into this?
What about the Left’s plan to take over the country using vaccine passports, etc? The Empire Passport was the cornerstone of this attempt. Were Cuomo’s negative activities beginning to threaten that?
Here’s what I do know. 20,000 dead seniors from Cuomo’s COVID policies did not bother the Democrats. Cuomo was an obstacle to somebody’s plans moving forward. Now he is out of the way.
