According to the administration some 6,000 to 7,000 Americans were rescued/evacuated due to the “extraordinary efforts” of our State Department and our military. Yet, as far as I know, there are no stories in the media about this. Why?
Where are the stories about barely escaping the clutches of the Taliban? Where are the joyful reunions in airports where relieved relatives greet their family members? These are the kind of human interest stories that the media love to add at the end of their telecasts.
It is even stranger in this case since the administration could use some news from the Afghanistan front that is not just about the sheer incompetence of this entire administration.
Weird.
Then there is this news item out of Arizona.
The results of the forensic audit have been delayed because one of the major people involved in the audit came down with COVID. Now, I understand that this could just be bad timing. However, with all that the Democrats have done to try to upend this process, I cannot help but think that malfeasance may be at work here.
Candice Owens went to a Colorado business for a rapid COVID test and was denied. The co-founder, a rabid activist on the Left, said that they would not serve Owens because Owens was a source of misinformation about COVID and about the use of vaccines to fight the disease.
Now let me see if I get this right. The Left is pushing the narrative that the only solution to this COVID “pandemic” is vaccination and testing. An unvaccinated individual is potentially the end of life on earth according to these people. An unvaccinated individual wants a test to show that she is not carrying this “dread” disease. The request is denied.
This leads to one of two conclusions. This co-founder does not care about the local area the business is located in. Or, the Left knows the whole COVID thing is a scam.
I vote for door #2.
