FBI Out Of Control

The FBI continues to demonstrate that they are the KGB, Gestapo and East German Stasi all rolled into one.  The SWAT raid on a Catholic apostolic leader and father of seven will be a step too far.  With all of the backlash that has occurred over various FBI activities this year, one would think it might be time to reassess.  Not a chance inside the bubble that the FBI lives in.

Mark Houck, the founder and co-president of The King’s Men, a men’s ministry, faces federal assault charges stemming from an incident on October 13, 2021,with a Planned Parenthood escort outside a Philadelphia abortion clinic nearly a year ago.

Houck was defending his 12-year-old son from the verbal assault and threats of an “escort” outside a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic nearly a year ago.  The “escort” fell when Houck attempted to separate the man from his son.  Both the city police and the local district attorney declined to press any charges against Houck.  A case in the local municipal court was dismissed.

On Friday, a SWAT team showed up at the Houck residence in Kintersville, PA,.  Houck’s wife, Ryan-Marie Houck, said,

“A SWAT team of about 25 came to my house with about 15 vehicles and started pounding on our door.  They said they were going to break in if he didn’t open it. And then they had about five guns pointed at my husband, myself, and basically at my kids.”

In July Houck received a “target letter” from the US Attorney’s office notifying Houck that he was the focus of a federal probe into the incident.  Through his attorney at the time, Houck tried to contact the U.S. Attorney’s Office to discuss the case but never received a response.

The next contact Houck had was Friday morning with a SWAT raid that seemed designed to capture a wanton murderer.  Of course, in this day and age, anyone who is a conservative can expect this kind of treatment especially if they stand up for life, liberty and freedom in this country.

The US Attorney’s office bragged about the arrest.  Houck was detained since he ““assaulted a man because he was a volunteer reproductive health care clinic escort.”  Jack Cashill has some insight into this propaganda coming out of the US Attorney’s office.

The most problematic word is “because.” Houck has had hundreds of opportunities to assault escorts if their offense in his eyes was to be an escort. Although the press release claims two incidents on that same day with the man, Houck had no prior or subsequent altercations.

Then there is the Orwellian phrase “reproductive health care clinic escort.” Ms. Crandall is somehow fusing the “reproductive rights” euphemism favored by abortion activists with the function of the escort, whose mission, of course, is to assure that no reproduction takes place on his watch.

Houck was arrested under the FACE Act which “prohibits violent, threatening, damaging, and obstructive conduct intended to injure, intimidate, or interfere with the right to seek, obtain or provide reproductive health services,” according to the Department of Justice (DOJ).

According to the charges filed, Houck’s actions came as the “escort” was helping two women obtain access to the clinic.  It is hard to understand how the “escort” could be doing this while getting in a 12-year-old’s face, calling him a fag and other vulgarities.

This is just another attempt by this administration to suppress free speech and the free exercise of religion in this country.  Very clearly abortion is a protected religion while those opposing the murder of unborn children are fair game for the sycophants in the DOJ.

How many attacks against pro-life entities and the Catholic Church have there been since the Dobbs decision was leaked in May?  The escalation of these attacks has been all too obvious.

Beginning in early May, vandalism attacks against Catholic churches, pro-life pregnancy centers, maternity homes, and other pro-life organizations have been reported across the country. These attacks have taken the form of vulgar graffiti, property damage, threats, theft, and even arson.

Cashill notes:

At least two of these incidents took place in the jurisdiction of the two Jacquelines (US Attorney’s office). In May 2022, for instance, the glass front doors of Notre Dame de Lourdes church in Swarthmore were spray-painted with the unsubtle message: ‘You do not have the right to decide what people can do, #ProChoice.” In June, vandals defaced St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Philadelphia with pro-abortion graffiti.

As far as anyone knows, the DoJ has ignored all these incidents despite the implicit civil rights violations involved. For its apparatchiks, “extremists” like Houck are the enemy. “If convicted,” they tell us, “the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 11 years in prison, three years of supervised release, and fines of up to $350,000.”

When will the FBI arrest anyone involved in these incidents?  When they start arresting crime fighters, it is time to end the FBI.  And a wholesale cleaning out of the DOJ is needed.

It is interesting to note that there are several close state and national election races going on in PA.  This raid couldn’t have anything to do with that, could it?
