The World Economic Forum is causing companies to consider abandoning European manufacturing sites because it has become too expensive to manufacture goods there.  Essentially, western governments following the insane “Build Back Better” climate change agenda are making it very expensive to conduct operations in Europe.  This is due to the escalating cost of energy.

When countries discourage and forbid using coal, oil and gas to power their economic engine, their economies become unprofitable.  The developing economic world continuing to use the more efficient and traditional forms of energy to power their economies benefit.  The same issue of unprofitability will surface in the United States if the Build Back Better agenda is followed to its logical conclusion.

The latest indicator of this surfaced recently.

NEW DELHI, Nov 24 (Reuters) – Fiat parent Stellantis (STLA.MI) has concluded it can’t currently make affordable electric vehicles (EVs) in Europe and is looking at lower-cost manufacturing in markets such as India, its chief executive told reporters.

If India, with its low-cost supplier base, is able to meet the company’s quality and cost targets by the end of 2023, it could open the door to exporting EVs to other markets, said Carlos Tavares, CEO of the group whose brands also include Peugeot and Chrysler.

This is the fundamental transformation that Obama was so big on.  Drive the making of things out of the western countries.  It looks like Obama is succeeding.  They will spin being cold, hungry and owning nothing as utopia.  Just wait and see.

Don Surber notes:

Thanksgiving is not about government. It is about God.

77% of Americans still know this.

However, too many Americans think otherwise.  A significant minority believe in a government that is “omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.”

“We used to think of ‘God, family, and country,’ but the significance of the first two has been effectively diminished in this society where self-reliance is the exception rather than the rule.

This has been by design.  If those in power can reduce the influence of religion and a belief in one’s self, it is easier to control the masses.  This has led to a schism between the dependents of the government wherever they reside and those deplorables who actually make life work.

Where will this end?

The New York Post reported on a hero:

A small but mighty hero rescued his 2-year-old sister after their Maryland apartment building went up in flames Tuesday evening.

La’Prentis Doughty, 11, ran out of the Salisbury building after noticing the fire, but immediately rushed back up to the second floor when he realized little Loyalty was still inside, state fire marshalls said.

The boy, willing to put his life on the line for his sister, suffered “very minor burns to his arm” after making his second escape.

“If I didn’t save my sister, I would be mad at myself because I could’ve saved her easily. I could have saved her, and I would risk my life for my sister,” La’Prentis told WBOC.

Heroes come in all sizes.
