On Wednesday the Supreme Court overturned a lower court decision and cleared the way for Virginia to remove 1,600 non-citizens from its voter rolls ahead of Election Day.
U.S. District Judge Patricia Tolliver Giles had ordered Virginia to reinstate over 1,600 individuals to the state’s voter rolls last week. That decision, had raised serious concerns about election integrity and the potential for voter fraud in the Commonwealth.
The three liberal justices dissented in the common-sense opinion. Evidently, they want US elections to be open to the world. ...
