To answer this question one has to determine if PDJT is “Making America Great Again.” As most people know that’s the slogan on PDJT’s red ball cap. I believe that PDJT is not only making America great for all people but he is also making us proud of our country again.
Main Street America was in dire economic straits when PDJT was elected. Wall Street may have benefitted from Obama’s policies but Main Street was left behind. Labor force participation was in the dumps. Food stamps, welfare and seasonal part-time jobs aren’t economic improvement. Black unemployment remained stubbornly high. Obama told us high unemployment and restrained economic growth was the new normal.
What was Obama’s record? According to Obama, no one cared more about blacks than he did. However, under Obama the incomes of blacks decreased nearly $1,000 (adjusted for inflation) per family, per year, from 2009 to 2015. Why? This was despite trillion dollar boondoggles from a Democratic Congress. Over the course of President Obama’s entire administration, median household income for all climbed a mere 0.3%.
Under PDJT median household income has risen to all-time highs. Median household income has shot up more than 4% in the 19 months since Trump took office. It had been flat over the previous year and a half. Under PDJT black median income has shot up even more.
Unemployment is at historic low levels and among blacks is at levels not seen in more than 50 years. Job growth per month for blacks has been much higher than the monthly average under Obama. So who has helped blacks more?
And yet there are those who condemn the man responsible for improving the economy. Through skillful manipulation by the MSM Obama was loved for his failures and PDJT is derided for his success. The MSM just cannot give PDJT any credit for what is happening.
Others will claim that PDJT is a racist. However, when pressed to point out instances where this is true, they are unable to identify a single event that attests to this supposed fact. (See “Trump’s Real Record on Race May Surprise You“)
There are those who don’t like the way he talks about some people. There are times I find his comments inelegant. However, PDJT wasn’t elected to be politically correct. If that were the determining factor, Hillary Clinton would have won in a landslide. Moreover, the idea that there is only one politically correct way of speaking is really an attempt to suppress freedom of speech and thought. Most Americans understand this.
I don’t care about PDJT’s tweets and I do not care about his lack of political correctness. I care that he is “Making America Great Again.”
PDJT is neither a politician nor some elitist lawyer. He was elected to help all the people of the country. He was elected to turn America around. He was elected to keep us safe. He has rolled up his sleeves and worked very hard to do this. He has been successful well beyond expectations. Americans of all persuasions should be proud of what he has accomplished for all of us.
What have the Democrats done to contribute to this success? Nothing. In fact, their main claim to a return to power is that they want to stifle economic growth, raise taxes and open the borders to illegal aliens who steal jobs from low-skilled Americans of all colors. A “caravan” of illegals is on its way to our southern border to do this. Who is paying for this?
So, should blacks vote Republican? I certainly think so. I believe it would be in their best self-interest. However, each man and woman should think about what PDJT’s policies have done for him/her self. They should make up their own mind based on the facts.
