Clown Show

The clown show has come back to Washington, DC.  Former Secretary of State John Kerry, who was also a Senator from Massachusetts at one time, was on Capitol Hill Tuesday.  He testified in front of the House Oversight Committee about the “threat” of climate change.  Of course, by climate change science deniers like John Kerry mean global warming.

He borrowed a page from Al Gore’s scam, “An Inconvenient Truth,” and advocated for massive government intervention to “fix” the problem. He also borrowed a line from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in stating the world would end if we don’t do “something” to stop it.

This was part of the Democrats’ effort to drum up support for more intrusion by the government in the economy.  At this point it is becoming more and more obvious to all Americans that less government intrusion in the economy is a good thing.  The Dems needed to change the conversation.  Saving the planet was the smokescreen that they tried to employ.

They expected some partisan jabs from the Republicans on the committee.  They had brought John Kerry in because of his name recognition hoping his testimony might help change the conversation.  However, they did not expect that their star witness in this effort would beclown himself and would trip himself up on CO2 facts.  350 parts per million is no danger point on any scientist’s radar.  Rep. Massie (R-KY) was the instrument of his downfall.

Please notice how Kerry tries to end the conversation by saying it’s “just not a serious conversation.”  Kerry walked into a face plant.  This was not a serious conversation on science.

The left leaning MSM leapt to Kerry’s defense.  They tried to smear Massie calling his questions “dumb” and “bizarre.”  They also referred to John Kerry as an expert on climate science.  Kerry is no expert on climate science.  In fact, Rep. Massie broadcast this to the entire world by reviewing Kerry’s educational background.  See the second tweet below.

If the committee was seriously trying to gather facts on the potential effects of different climate scenarios, why did the Democrats, who run the committee, bring in John Kerry?  It’s because it was partisan attempt to deflect the public’s attention from other problems that the Democrats currently have.
