The wheels of justice continue to grind in the ongoing investigations into the corrupt activities of high level officials within the DOJ and the FBI. According to multiple media sources FBI chief legal counsel Dana Boente was forced to resign on Friday. Finally, sunlight has removed a very corrupt player. And it was not Christopher Wray who did it. This seems to be the work of AG Bill Barr.
According to Sundance over at CTH,
Monica Showalter at American Thinker notes,
It’s long and complicated, but the picture isn’t a pretty one. The short story is that whenever investigators tried to get to the bottom of FISA abuse and White House spying on the Trump administration – and always seemed to run into roadblocks, lost documents or other administrative-state and dog-ate-my-homework excuses, Boente was involved.
His leaving comes right after recent criticism by Fox News’ Lou Dobbs about Boente’s role in the investigation of LTG Flynn. It remains to be seen whether other shoes may drop in the near future.
Let’s keep in mind that Boente was Wray’s right-hand man. It appears that Boente’s role was to protect the ongoing corrupt activity of the Mueller Hit Squad and other corrupt activities within the DOJ and the FBI. Boente also appears to have been enmeshed in the Wolfe case, the Assange case, the Flynn case and the ongoing coverups of corruption in all of these cases. Boente also signed off on one of the fraudulent Carter Page FISA renewals.
What does this mean for Christopher Wray? It would appear that his tenure may be short-lived. As Monica Showalter noted, “Attorney General Bill Barr is a tough player. And the Trump team has already demonstrated that ‘you’re fired’ is a thing.” Perhaps there will be another job for Ric Grenell in the near future.
