With potential indictments against high-ranking members of the Obama administration looming, the Democrats appear to be desperate to launch their next impeachment foray. Just as they did with the killing of unborn children, the Democrats appear to be trying to transform impeachment from rare occurrence to one that is commonplace.
The Democrats cannot have John Durham’s absolutely devastating indictments arrive without having some kind of smokescreen to divert the public’s attention. It appears that they are laying the groundwork for an impeachment of AG Bill Barr.
House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) has issued subpoenas for testimony from two DOJ “whistleblowers.” Three individuals will appear before the Judiciary Committee on June 24th to provide their opinions on the “politicization” of the DOJ.
Chairman Nadler’s statement:
This is a clear attempt by Chairman Nadler to obstruct the criminal investigation of high-ranking Democrats from the Obama administration. The Democrats do not want to see a high-profile indictment that exposes the fact that the Obama administration had weaponized various elements of the administration against its political enemies. They need to paint a picture that these indictments, when they come, are just politics, nothing more.
The media will eat this up. We will be hearing stories about how this administration has politicized the DOJ beyond possible redemption. All of this comes despite the complete discrediting of the Russian collusion narrative.
The entire Trump collusion debacle was played out to the max even though everyone in the media, every Democratic politician and everyone in Hollywood knew there was no evidence at all indicating any connection between Trump and Russia. But the lie was carried forward for over two years in the hope that somehow, some way, some random shard of lethal evidence could be found to discredit Trump and lead to his being tossed out of office. The rabidity of TDS is relentless.
The bell is beginning to toll for these miscreants. So, once again we see an attempt to cover up malfeasance. This time it is not Adam Schiff. This time it is by Jerrold Nadler. Who will be the next Democrat to try to obstruct justice?
