The White House said on Tuesday 58,700 civilians were evacuated from Afghanistan since the operation began.
Emerald Robinson from Newsmax on Tuesday said only 4,000 Americans have been evacuated from Afghanistan. That means there are likely over 10,000 Americans left in the country. It also means that most of the civilians being evacuated are not American citizens.
On Tuesday night Steve Cortes told his Newsmax audience that according to the most recent numbers from the State Department only 4,407 Americans have been rescued so far.
Just how many hostages is Biden planning on leaving the Taliban?
During a press conference at the White House on Monday, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked about how Biden facilitated the withdrawal “by pulling the troops before getting these Americans who are now stranded.”
Psaki reacted by criticizing Doocy.
“I think it’s irresponsible to say Americans are stranded. They are not,” she said.
“I’m just calling you out for saying that we are stranding Americans in Afghanistan,” Psaki responded, “when we have been very clear that we are not leaving Americans who want to return home (emphasis added). We are going to bring them home. And I think that’s important for the American public to hear and understand.”
The emphasized portion of the statement is apparently going to be the administration’s position. Namely, anyone who does not come home, has elected to stay there. Therefore, no one is stranded. This is linguistic sleight of hand. And it ignores the reality of the situation in Kabul.
Even Adam Schiff (D-CA) finds Psaki’s statement puzzling. “Given the number of Americans who still need to be evacuated, the number of [Special Immigrant Visas], the number of others who are members of the Afghan press, civil society leaders, women leaders. It’s hard for me to imagine all of that can be accomplished between now and the end of the month,”
Perhaps Psaki is living in an alternate reality.
The DNC seems to be in the same alternate reality as Jen Psaki.

Afghanistan is now considered a success according to the DNC.
The World Health Organization is preparing new policy guidance on what it terms safe abortion. There is no such thing as a safe abortion. Abortions are designed to kill at least one person. How can that be considered safe?
