Joe Biden on Monday called on Congress to avert a rail strike after the largest railroad union rejected a labor deal last week. A nationwide rail strike now looms as a stronger possibility. Union leaders were for the pact. The members not so much. I wonder who got bought off?
The Democrats are now ready during this lame duck session of Congress to force a contract on the unions. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said lawmakers would take up legislation this week to impose a deal on the unions.
Biden was decrying the potential effects on the economy. “Let me be clear: a rail shutdown would devastate our economy,” Biden said in a statement. “Without freight rail, many U.S. industries would shut down.”
Devastate our economy? Biden and his handlers have already been very successful at doing that during the last two years. Now it looks like they are looking for someone to blame for their deliberate destruction of the US economy.
The media also appears to be putting a target on China. Stories are starting to appear that the lockdowns that Dr. Fauci thinks are great, are causing a significant ripple effect through the world economy. Supply chains are all the favorite storylines now.
This is just BS. The Dems say they are pro-union. Then they force people to accept the terms they dictate. The Dems say they value free speech. Then they censor anyone who disagrees with them.
I think this calls for some more “I Did That” stickers to show up wherever needed.
