Starting the fiscal year 2026, Minnesota will give $15 million to those who have been harmed by marijuana prohibition. Yes, you read that right. If you suffered because marijuana was a prohibited substance, the State of Minnesota will see that millions of dollars are available to help you over that trauma.

Is the worm turning?
Russia had promised retaliation if Ukraine continued striking Crimea with Storm Shadows, etc. Decision-making centers in Ukraine would be targeted.
Russia has kept its word and has struck three different headquarters of the SBU. The first time was when the Kiev HQ was struck. The second was when they struck an SBU HQ in Sumy on July 2nd. Most recently, they have completely obliterated an important SBU headquarters in Dnipro with precision Iskander-M strikes this past Friday.
On the same day, it was announced that a U.S. army general was ‘killed in a plane crash.’
Coincidence? Many think not.
The tourism body appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to oversee Disney World and its properties announced Tuesday that it will discontinue all diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, including related roles.
Race-based contracting and a DEI committee will be eliminated, the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District confirmed in a statement, because these initiatives “discriminated against Americans based on gender and race, costing taxpayers millions of dollars.”
The announcement follows an internal investigation into the district’s policies.

Chicago’s new mayor Brandon Johnson took issue with a reporter for using the phrase ‘mob action’ to describe a rabble of up to 400 teenagers who trashed a 7-Eleven.
A huge crowd stormed the convenience store in the South Loop just after 9pm on Sunday and wreaked havoc with looting items and vandalizing going on.
The large gathering resulted in the arrest of at least 40 people, aged 12 to 20, as police tried to get the situation under control.
What words should have been used? Did Johnson graduate from Chicago schools and is that why he doesn’t understand the meaning of “mob action?”
The killing continues: The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost 845 men on Aug. 2 and 575 Aug. 3 during its hara-kiri “counter-offensive.” The Russian Ministry of Defence confirmed Gateway reports that over 40,000 Ukrainians have died in the “counter-offensive” since June 4.
This number does not include the injured, who were evacuated to hospitals in Ukraine and abroad or foreign mercenaries as well as the soldiers that were neutralized in long-range high-precision strikes in rear areas.
