Almost four years ago, a household earning $59,000 annually could afford a new mortgage without spending more than 30% of their monthly income and with a 10% down payment, according to a recent report by Zillow Group. That is no longer the case today.
“Since January of 2020, the typical mortgage payment on the typical home in the U.S. has nearly doubled,” said Orphe Divounguy, a senior economist at Zillow.
Nowadays, potential homebuyers need to make about $106,500 a year in order to afford the typical home today, an 80% increase from January 2020, according to Zillow.
The Democratic party is against home ownership. People might become independent in their thinking.
Canada is becoming a home to authoritarianism. Trudeau has proposed a law that would allow for life imprisonment for hate speech crimes. Currently the term of punishment maxes out at 5 years for a speech crime. Trudeau wants to change the max to life in prison.

Eric Adams, NYC’s embattled Democratic mayor, has been accused of sexual assault from an incident back in 1993. The accuser filed a summons Wednesday night under the Adult Survivors Act – the same law that allowed E. Jean Carroll to go after Trump 30 years later.
Adams has earned the disfavor of those on high because of his opposition to illegal aliens. Those in power are letting him know that he needs to toe the Democratic line or they will come after him with bogus claims just as they did with Trump.
Adams is also under federal investigation. The FBI seized Adams’ cellphones and 2 iPads amid a federal corruption investigation related to his 2021 campaign.
The Feds are focusing on text messages suggesting Adams helped fast-track approvals from the city Buildings Department and Fire Department for the Turkish government’s headquarters in New York City, according to the New York Post.
This is everyday behavior for a government that has been weaponized against anyone and everyone who will not bow down and kiss the jackboots of those in power.
