The Pentagon has confirmed that the temporary pier that was built to deliver “humanitarian aid” to Palestinians is a total disaster. This was to be a crowning jewel of Biden’s foreign policy and was supposed to aid his campaign for re-election. In particular, this was done to convince the Muslims in Michigan to vote for Biden.
Gen. Patrick S. Ryder, the Pentagon’s spokesman, told reporters that none of the 569 metric tons of food and supplies delivered into Hamas-controlled Gaza via the port have been distributed to Gaza residents by nongovernmental organizations.
Most of the aid has been commandeered by Hamas. Anyone who thought that it would be different, doesn’t understand the situation in Gaza. Hamas has gunned down Palestinians who tried to leave certain areas. To think that NGOs would get to distribute food is just ludicrous.
Now it turns out that the pier has broken apart in rough seas and is in danger of sinking.

This occurred after three US service men were injured, one critically.
On top of this embarrassment, US troops are abandoning a $100 million US airbase in Niger. Russia appears to be taking over that base. This reminds everyone of the loss of 13 service members and $80+ billions in Afghanistan just so Biden could say he exited that country on the 20th anniversary of 9/11.
Just how inept can one administration be?
