The Real Numbers

As noted yesterday, the Democrats have been cooking the books on the state of jobs creation in the economy.  Of course, anyone with a lick of common sense knew that the BLS numbers were fictitious since major corporations were announcing layoffs of 5%, 10% and 15% every month for most of the last three years.

On Wednesday the BLS formally announced the revision to the annual jobs report.  The BLS removed 818,000 previously recorded jobs.

[…] “The Bureau of Labor Statistics revised down its total tally of jobs created in the year through March by 818,000 as part of its preliminary annual benchmark review of payroll data. That suggests the economy added an average of 174,000 jobs per month during that time period — below the previous 242,000 estimate. On a monthly basis, that amounts to about 68,000 fewer jobs.  It marks the largest downward revision since 2009.” (read more)

I wonder who was President in 2009?

I digress.

The numbers represent a nearly 30% reduction in the number of jobs created.  When Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo was confronted with these facts, she immediately launched into attacking Trump by saying he never has said anything truthful.  Raimondo did not know the numbers were from the BLS.

Of course, the BLS is part of the Labor Department.  Apparently the BLS information is siloed and never makes it outside the silo until it is released.

This administration is paid just to show up and lie to the American public.  Raimondo was probably hired for her ability to immediately lie smoothly under all circumstances unburdened by principles or any moral code.

Most of the jobs that were actually created are part time jobs.  More and more people are having to work multiple jobs just to make ends meet.

Numerous recruiters have commented that they have never seen the job market this bad.  White collar unemployment is through the roof. Spend 10 mins on LinkedIn and you will see endless stories of people losing their homes, marriages destroyed…a lot of despair from people who worked very hard all their lives and their careers are just gone.

In many cases there will be 1,000+ applicants for a single job.  In my small niche of the economy, I have never seen so many people seeking part time employment.

This is Bidenomics now known as Kamalanomics at its best.
