On Wednesday afternoon VP Harris gave a concession speech. Her speech writers did a very good job. Harris’ delivery was good probably as good as any speech she has read off a teleprompter. It is certainly better than any speech that I have heard her give. And it was all fake.
I will touch on a few points from the speech.
Harris thanked both Jill (the doctor) and Joe Biden. Is there anyone on the planet who thinks this was sincere? Perhaps I am being too cynical here. Perhaps she really was thanking Joe Biden for being so addled that the elite were forced into elevating Harris into prime time. And I, for one, think that the Biden’s intentionally sabotaged Harris’ campaign. I doubt she was thanking them for that.
At one point Harris mentioned that her campaign lasted 107 days. Which speech write thought this was a good idea to put into the speech? It draws attention to the fact that Harris did not earn the nomination. Normally people campaigning for President do it for years. How many Democrats are now pissed off over the fact that they had no shot the nomination, that it was given to someone who did not work for it?
Harris was handed the nomination by the party elites. No voter ever voted for her in any primary for President. Harris then went out and made some speeches. And Harris did not do that very well.
Toward the end of the speech Harris mentioned hard work and that they were not afraid of hard work. That’s just BS. What they are really in favor of is redistributing the hard work of others to non-workers. Harris’ elevation into the spotlight is a prime example of this.
Harris expressed her love of the Constitution and God. These were probably the biggest lies that she told. What Democrat supports the First or Second Amendment? Censorship of people who disagree with the Democrats is high on the list of activities that Democrats engage in. If not censorship, then cancelling that person from the public square is the other approach that Dems use to stifle free speech. The persecution of J6ers is a particularly egregious example of this effort.
When it comes to freedom of religion, Obama, Harris’ mentor and the one who would have pulled the strings if Harris had achieved the Oval Office, is famous for trying to relegate that freedom to which church one chooses to worship at. Late in the campaign, Harris herself bullied two young men out of her rally telling them they were at the wrong rally when they expressed that Christ is Lord.
Then there is the disdain that Democrats including Harris have for the Second Amendment. The Democrats see the people as subjects not citizens. And subjects could dangerous if they are allowed to have weapons. Harris herself had proclaimed that she would sign an Executive Order for a mandatory buyback of guns.
Harris is in favor to taking away weapons that were legally purchased. Of course, this is in line with all Communist manifestos that call for the disarming of the public. And it is what Hitler did in Germany when he seized power. So, just who would be Hitler if President?
As far as loving the country, Andrea Widburg points out:
You do not love a country that you castigate as founded in original sin and claim is irredeemably racist and one of the more pernicious forces in the world.
Then there were Harris’ statements about the peaceful transfer of power.
I also told him that we will help him and his team with their transition and that we will engage in a peaceful transfer of power. A fundamental principle of American democracy is that when we lose an election, we accept the results. That principle, as much as any other, distinguishes democracy from monarchy or tyranny. And anyone who seeks the public trust must honor it.
Harris notably ignored Senator Al Gore challenging the results of his attempt to win the Presidency. That one was decided by the Supreme Court’s decision on hanging chads. Senator Gore would have been President if he had carried his home state.
Harris probably wanted to challenge the results somewhere. Pennsylvania comes to mind where Republicans went to court and successfully challenged intimidation tactics as well as gaining additional voting hours in “red” locations hit by mysterious glitches with voting machines. However, the Dems have waged all-out war against Trump since 2020 over his challenging election results. Apparently, challenging the results of this election was a hill too high to climb. It would be great if Democrats can never again challenge election results. Perhaps a consent decree is in order.
Another note on this section of her speech. When one listens, does it seem like Harris is begging for the Democratic brown shirts (think BLM and Antifa) not to commit mayhem by rampaging through our urban centers? I suppose if that were to happen, the Left would be further exposed to be the party of violence.
One final note. Harris tried to make the case that the Communists Democrats are the “big tent” party. Harris insisted that Democrats stand for “treating one another with kindness and respect…”. This may be the biggest pile of horse puckey in the whole 12 minutes of this speech. The words “bitter clingers,” “fascist,” “racist,” “deplorables,” “Nazis,” “domestic terrorists,” “Hitler,” and “garbage” come to mind. These were used over and over to describe half the country. Why? To try to coerce those people into disappearing from the public square. To make people afraid to express an opinion that was different from the Communist agenda.
Hopefully this is the end of Kamala Harris on the public stage. Harris will be discarded by the Democrats since she no longer serves any useful purpose for their agenda. Perhaps she can retire to her home where her husband can “straighten her out.” Unfortunately, a gig on MSNBC is a possibility. Perhaps her signature cackle will keep her from having that choice.
