PDJT is scheduled to arrive in Paris this coming weekend to witness the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral. This will be PDJT’s first trip out of the country since he won re-election in November.
Notre Dame, an iconic symbol of French heritage and Gothic architecture, suffered major damage in April 2019 when a fire engulfed its roof and spire. Its main structure was saved, along with many of its priceless contents.
Is it an act of divine providence that the French Government collapsed on Wednesday? The National Assembly voted for the first time in more than a half-century to oust a prime minister from office, a sign of the political gridlock that has paralyzed France. The no-confidence vote for Prime Minister Michel Barnier secured the support of 331 members of the 577 seat National Assembly. The support for this no-confidence vote crossed ideological boundaries as members of the National Assembly from a variety of political persuasions on both sides of the aisle joined together the end the current government.
Much of this drama started during the summer when French President Macron called for snap elections in order to quell the upsurge of Marine Le Pen’s National Rally party. National Rally is a party that is oriented towards France’s best interests just as MAGA is here in America. And just as here in America, National Rally has been smeared as extremist, far right, Nazis, etc.
France has two-stage elections. National Rally won the most votes in the initial election. Macron then backed the far-left (translation: Communist) parties in attempt to retain power. That has garnered him a few months before that coalition which was destined to splinter actually fell apart.
This two-step electoral process is the antithesis of democracy. It smacks of the ranked choice voting that the Communists Democrats have been pushing here in this country.
What we see here is the probability that, just as here in America, the establishment is losing its ability to retain power through corruption whatever form that may take. The European public is beginning to see the marionette strings more clearly.
That leads to this question. Was Macron’s invitation to Trump to come to Paris an attempt to stave off this vote and retain power?
