Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) recently expressed deep concerns about facing accountability for her opposition to Trump’s cabinet nominees. Apparently accountability to the voters was not something that Murkowski ever seriously considered in the past. I guess accountability to the powers that be in Washington was all that mattered in the past.
🚨Sen. Lisa Murkowski laments that there will be accountability to voters for obstructing Trump’s cabinet picks:

Elon Musk recently visited Capitol Hill with entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, where they rallied support for Trump’s proposed Department of Government Efficiency, aimed at slashing bureaucratic waste and reining in reckless spending.
Musk has proposed a “naughty list” for members of Congress. This has created panic among RINOs who have grown soft and complacent in DC while ignoring what the voters have asked them to do. These people used to be more concerned about how Mitch McConnell would view their actions than We The People.
I am glad that these RINOs are realizing that the political landscape is changing. Murkowski is annoyed because she received all kinds of outside help to keep the job she currently has. This included the horrors of ranked-choice voting. Now Murkowski is looking at outside help in the form of Elon Musk who will be against her interests.
The only reason she is still a senator is the 17th Amendment along with ranked-choice voting. The 17thAmendment weakened a state’s ability to be represented by those who have the best interests of the state in mind.
I want to see more Senators getting worried about their re-election chances if they do not represent the wishes of the voters.
