On Tuesday, Tom Homan gave an interview with Dana Bash from CNN. Bash demonstrates why CNN is no longer relevant as a media outlet. The ostensible reason for the interview was to get an overview of the administration’s plan for removing illegal aliens from the country.
As Sundance noted, CNN host Dana Bash appears to pretend to just find out that Border Czar Tom Homan is going to begin the deportation operation he previously outlined. Ms. Bash wants to know how many ICE officers, where are they going, what cities are being targeted, what are the names of the people being targeted by ICE, and how long do they have until ICE officers arrive. Seriously, no joke, this is the priority of questioning.
The media tactics as evidenced by Dana Bash’s questions are so obvious. Bash is attempting to get Homan to say something, anything that the media can use to undermine this administration. Bash keeps asking essentially the same question over and over. Perhaps Tom Homan should have spoken slower so that she could comprehend the answers.
Dana Bash’s sole purpose in this interview was to portray immigration enforcement as evil. This is what the true purpose of the interview was. Bash ignored the fact that Homan mentioned several times that releasing violent, illegal aliens into the community is a safety issue.
Illegal immigration is illegal. It seemed that Bash did not understand this. While we are at it, let’s call illegal immigration by its true name, human trafficking. Several hundred thousand children are supposed to be under the umbrella of DHS. The problem is DHS has lost track of them.
Some people might ask why talk to CNN at all. Let’s be reminded that CNN is the channel that is broadcast in most airports in this country. Homan is delivering a clear and definitive message to all those TSA people and everyone else who is listening to CNN in an airport just what the priorities of this administration are.
This is just a preview of what Americans will have to put up with from the lame stream media as PDJT and his army improve the life of all Americans.
