Ann Selzer’s Iowa poll showed Trump losing Iowa by three points just 48 hours before the election. Iowa is Trump country. Trump won Iowa by 8 points in 2020. After four years of Biden, of relentless inflation, of ridiculous efforts by the administration to turn the country into a communist state, the GOP voter edge in Iowa grew dramatically. As the dust has settled after this year’s presidential election, we have seen a whirlwind set of announcements regarding who will be working for the people starting on January 20th. This is a far cry from eight years ago. Frankly I think that PDJT might have been a little surprised that he won in 2016. I am certain that PDJT, along with most of us, were naïve about Washington DC. It’s not that we did not know that corruption existed there, it was the sheer extent of such corruption that surprised us.

Apparently accountability to the voters was not something that Murkowski ever seriously considered in the past. I guess accountability to the powers that be in Washington was all that mattered in the past.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was questioned why Joe Biden reversed himself and gave a pardon to his son Hunter after insisting over and over that he would let the process be handled within the justice system.
