House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries took to the floor this past week and claimed that inflation is going up under Trump. This has become a favorite talking point for Democrats over the last several weeks. The problem?  The Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) released the Consumer Price Index for March, reflecting a drop in the year-over-year inflation rate to the lowest level in four years.

In a touching act of kindness, Marine Myles Kerr sacrificed his race time to help a young boy who had gotten separated from his group during a 5K run. Despite being a seasoned runner, Myles noticed the boy struggling and chose to stay by his side, offering encouragement and support until they crossed the finish line together. Though it meant finishing last, Myles demonstrated the true spirit of compassion and selflessness, showing that some races are not about winning but about being there for others when they need it most. ...

Margaret Brennan on Face The Nation went off on another one of her usual rants this time against what the administration is doing with the tariffs issue.  Apparently Brennan is very worried about the penguins of Heard and McDonald Island being able to keep up with the orders for industrial equipment.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has to explain to Brennan just how the global markets work.  Brennan gets a little pissy toward the end.  Another Brennan interview where the gotcha questions get her instead of the person she is supposedly interviewing.

They are coming for your children.  A Democrat member of the Colorado House of Representatives defended excluding parental rights groups from discussions about a bill that would remove kids from parents’ custody for behaviors like “misgendering” and “deadnaming.”  She did so by comparing parental rights groups to the Ku Klux Klan on Tuesday.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has recommended that prosecutors should seek the death penalty in the case of accused murderer Luigi Mangione.  Mangione is accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

Over on ‘The View,’ Joy Behar recently wondered if this decision would cause a ‘backlash’ against Republicans. It doesn’t matter to her what happened, or the fact that a completely innocent man was murdered in cold blood. All that matters to Behar is that there is a possibility that something might go badly for Republicans. ...
