Hate and Fear

Violence, slander and defamation are the new normal for the Democratic Party.  If you do not like the outcome of a particular vote, you riot.  If you do not like the verdict of a trial,  you rampage through the area.  If you do not agree with the political viewpoints of Republican congressmen, you try to assassinate them.  If you do not like the outcome of a confirmation vote, you break into the offices of Senators and you assault them or their staffers.  If you want to influence a Senator’s vote, you don’t advance your ideas about the issue, you threaten the Senator’s staffers with rape. These are some of the ways of the modern Democratic Party and their followers.

Republican Congress people are harassed in restaurants, at movie theatres, in airports and even their own homes.  The harassers are just following the exhortations of Democrats like Maxine Waters (“…you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,”) and Senator Cory Booker (“Please, get up in the face of some congresspeople”).

Preventing someone from moving forward, thrusting a middle finger in their face and screaming obscenities is apparently the way to enact change at least according to these Democrats.  The fact that it incites unstable people to violence, that it makes these people feel that assaulting a person is somehow politically justifiable, is okay with these politicians.

How did we get here as a country?  Hate and fear.

A hundred years ago white children in the South were taught to hate and fear blacks from a very young age.  There were myriad ways this was done.  Children learned this in school, in church, at the lunch counter and on the bus. They learned hate and fear from the Jim Crow laws.  They learned that if someone looked different from them, then those people were lesser people.  They were evil people.

Of course, this was the Big Lie dressed as the Truth.  It satisfied the needs of that society.  Few in that society had any desire to face the real Truth. To do so would have exposed the corrupt nature of those in power.

The same is true today.  Just as they did during the Jim Crow era, the Democrats use hate and fear to control those who vote for them.  The Democrats have never given up on plantation politics.  Instead of focusing on the color of a person’s skin, hate and fear are now focused on ideas that are different.  Children are taught in school to conform to one mantra, to shun thoughts that are different.  Thinking outside the box is discouraged.  Skepticism is met with ridicule.

During the last decade, young people on college campuses have been taught that ideas that challenge their view of the world are to be feared.  That such ideas are really a form of aggression. As such, it is okay to respond with violence.  This has led to campuses where free speech and the free exchange of ideas has all but disappeared, where individuals who are skeptical are threatened with disciplinary action by the school and physical violence by other students.  Anyone with views contrary to the mainstream is now “de-platformed” from the “social media” that is ubiquitous.

The Democratic Party ideology is bankrupt.  PDJT with his tweeting and his actions has exposed the Big Lie that is the Democratic Party.  He has shown through his programs and through the paring back of big government that a free people can prosper be they white, black, brown or any other shade of skin color. He has shown that the idea that created this country, that individuals are entitled by their Creator to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness was a great one.

The Democrats use labels to try to keep their followers in line.  If you step outside the policy positions of the Democrats, you are evil.  By definition you must be deplorable.  You must be sexist, racist, homophobic and/or some other convenient deplorable label. They will manufacture accusations against you if you have some position of power.  This is hate and fear at work.

Come November 6th, it is time to send a message that such machinations are no longer acceptable in American politics and American society.
