The Federal government shutdown continues. While federal workers go without pay, what are Democratic lawmakers doing? Turns out they are partying in Puerto Rico with K Street lobbyists. As Paul Bedard noted:
So while federal workers are struggling, Democrats are being wined and dined by big-time lobbyists and corporate executives. It is clear that Democrats could care less about federal workers and the government shutdown. They must believe that most Americans have been brainwashed to believe Democrats are God’s gift to the America. And, therefore, they can do anything and they will be rewarded with the support of the American people.
Nancy Pelosi has called the wall “immoral and ineffective.” She said that illegals could tunnel under the wall. Ok, how has that worked out where a wall was put into place?
According to Ted Robbins at NPR, San Diego has a model that can be looked at. Before the wall was built there, over 100,000 illegals entered the country there every year. And that is just those who were caught. Now roughly 5,000 are apprehended there each year.
According to Jim Henry, assistant chief of the Border Patrol’s San Diego sector, “Here in San Diego, we have proven that the border infrastructure system does indeed work. It is highly effective.” I would agree that a 95% reduction in illegal border crossings would qualify as effective. Did Speaker Pelosi think that no one would fact check her? Once again the Democrats have been caught promoting outright falsehoods in furtherance of their Marxist agenda.
Speaker Pelosi also called the border wall “immoral.” What is immoral is the fact that the Democrats are putting out a welcome mat for violent criminals, for drug traffickers, for those engaged in sex trafficking, etc. The Democrats are putting the safety of all Americans at risk by refusing to secure our southern border. Once entry is gained to the country all of our states are border states. Any state can be reached in 2-3 days once a criminal is inside the country.
It is time for the Democrats to return from their partying. The American people deserve better.
Has anyone watched a video of Pelosi asking one of her people to call the police because immigrants went over her fence and they were taken off her backyard Business and politics has reported on it. She should be fired. Why hasn’t any news checked up on this. Thank you for your time.
