Voter ID & The SAVE Act…Part 5

Chuck Schumer went on CNN after Trump renewed calls to pass the 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗔𝗰𝘁, and he absolutely 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 it.

Not “I disagree.”  Not “Here’s a better idea.”  Straight to panic mode.

Because the second you talk about 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 at registration, the whole house of cards starts shaking.  The Democrats see a generational collapse of their ability to steal elections.

Schumer literally claimed:

𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘧 “𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘴” 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘴.

Notice the trick?  Schumer does not use the word citizens when he says this.  When Schumer uses the word Americans, he is including people who can’t prove they’re eligible.  For example, that would be the 100,000+ illegal aliens on the voter rolls in Pennsylvania.

That’s the whole scam.  The open borders regime of the OBiden administration was importing people who would be added to the voter rolls through various mechanisms.  One popular way to do this in Democratic jurisdictions is to automatically register a person to vote when they obtain a driver’s license.

CNN tried to hand him a lifeline — asking what voter ID he could support — and Schumer’s answer was basically:

𝘞𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘐𝘋, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴.

Translation:

The Democrats will support the kind of “voter ID” that 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴.  Show an ID at the polls? Fine.  But verify citizenship when registering? Suddenly it’s “Jim Crow.”

And then Schumer goes full on bonkers:

𝘋𝘰 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘐𝘊𝘌 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘦?

This is the non-sequitor of all times.  How is ICE involved with voter registration?  This is a very weak attempt to connect an immigration enforcement organization with the process of registering to vote.  For citizens with two working brain cells, this does not compute.

Normal people hear: 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲.  Normal people hear: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁.  Normal people hear: 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀.

And if the SAVE Act really “purges” millions of legitimate voters like he claims, then Schumer should be able to explain — calmly — why verifying citizenship is wrong.

But he can’t.  So Schumer does what the Democrats always do when they are losing the factual argument: they scream “racism,” scream “Jim Crow,” and hope nobody asks the obvious question:

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝘆?

Because that’s what this is.

Not “voter suppression.”

Not “Jim Crow 2.0.”

Just 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

When someone melts down like this over a common-sense standard, it makes people start to wake up and notice what is going on.  The Democrats want the list messy, the process sloppy, and the margin soft.  This allows them to commit fraud to win elections.

That’s why they’re fighting the SAVE Act.
