California Rep. Eric “Gun Control” Swalwell, an Iowa native and former prosecutor, announced his bid for the Presidency in the crowded Democratic field on Monday. He is an unapologetic supporter of banning firearms. He proposes a ban on and confiscation of weapons from citizens across the U.S. The 38-year-old congressman would exempt law enforcement agencies.
“We should take the most dangerous weapons out of the hands of the most dangerous people.”
He did not reveal how his program of removing weapons from law-abiding citizens would take weapons out of the hands of “the most dangerous people.”
