Obstruction of Justice

Are the Democrats guilty of obstruction of justice?  It is clear now that the administrative state needs to remove AG Bill Barr from his office quickly.  Failing in this will result in serious legal exposure for many top intelligence officials from the Obama administration.  Are the Democrats, who are allies of these officials, obstructing the investigation by trying to oust AG Barr?  By trying to smear AG Barr?  By trying to get AG Barr to violate the law by releasing a public copy of the unredacted Mueller Report?

Attorney General Bill Barr has vowed to get to the bottom of the surveillance and spy operations conducted against the Trump campaign and Trump administration in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.  Other information surfacing suggests that spying on Americans may go all the way back to 2012.  Barr is now a threat to the administrative system that believes that only they, and not the American public, should decide who leads the country.  If the Democrats are trying to stop this investigation, this would indicate corrupt intent.  Doesn’t that make them guilty of obstruction?

On Sunday Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) quoted Sen. Schumer,

“You mess with the intelligence community, they have six ways to Sunday of getting back at you.”

So Sen. Chuck Schumer is afraid of the intelligence community.  The intelligence community are unelected bureaucrats who have “leverage” over Schumer.  How might that be?

Jordan asked if the intelligence community was “getting back at PDJT.”  Did that really happen?  He applauded Bill Barr for making the decision to look into this.

Jordan went on to comment on the Papadopoulos entrapment scheme.  He talked about Mifsud, Azra Turk, Chris Steele and foreign government involvement in the entrapment scheme.

Jordan made four points.

First, AG Barr testified under oath that spying did occur.

Second, Barr testified that there was basis for his concern that such spying was not properly predicated.

Third, Barr said there was a failure of leadership at the upper echelon of the FBI.

Fourth, Barr referred to “unauthorized surveillance” and “political surveillance.”

Jordan made the point that the acts of the Democrats to stop this investigation constituted obstruction of justice.  See his interview below.

There is a storm coming.
