Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) outlines the political motives of Jerry Nadler (Chair-House Judiciary Committee) and his fellow Democrats in moving to cite AG Barr for contempt of Congress. As Jordan states forcefully, Barr was being cited because he refused to break the law.
This whole thing is a show for the Democratic base. They hope to discredit Barr so that the public will not believe the facts he uncovers about the rigging of the 2016 election and the attempted coup after that. The Democrats believe that most of the country is ignorant and easily manipulated.
Part of the Mueller probe tried “novel” interpretations of the statutes to see if they could fit a crime to what took place. Perhaps it is time for the patriotic members of the DOJ to see if they can find a “novel” way to use the RICO statutes against the Democrats in Congress. There certainly is a pattern of behavior evident by a group of individuals with corrupt intent.
