Trump Derangement Syndrome. TDS is running amuck at MSNBC. The network of Rachel Maddow, whose show has been hemorrhaging viewers since the Russian hoax was revealed, put another analyst on national television who appears to be severely afflicted with TDS.
Frank Figliuzzi, former assistant director of the FBI for Counter Intelligence, now an MSNBC analyst, theorized about the President’s selection of an ending date for flying flags at half-mast. Flags are at half-mast in the wake of the mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio. The ending date is August 8. According to Figliuzzi, this selection of an ending date has ties to Hitler, the Neo-Nazis, and white supremacy as a whole. The former FBI official is putting forward a conspiracy theory that President Trump may be sending secret coded signals to white supremacists.
Figliuzzi reached this conclusion by noting that August 8th is 8/8 in numbers. He transformed this into 88 and noted that the 8th letter of the alphabet is “H.” Therefore, according to Figliuzzi, 88 is in reality a code for HH that is commonly understood in neo-Nazi and white supremacy circles as meaning “Heil Hitler.”
Figliuzzi said that, to these extremists, “Our chief executive is seen as almost a mentor as a radicalizer.” Now PDJT is raising the flag back up at dusk on August 8th which, according to Figliuzzi, sends a secret coded signal to them. This is another example of just how bad that the wheels have come off for the Democratic Party. The next breaking news item will probably be that PDJT uses a secret decoder ring.
The interviewer, Brian Williams, said, “That’s chilling.” On that I would have to agree. If this is not a serious case of mental illness, it is difficult to understand what would qualify. If Figliuzzi lives in a state with Red Flag Laws, perhaps he has just qualified for involuntary gun confiscation.
If this is an example of the intelligence inside his former unit, it is no wonder that the FBI missed warnings from Russia about the Boston Marathon bombers, overlooked warnings from local residents about the San Bernardino terrorists or ignored reports from the Florida sheriff about the Pulse Nightclub terrorist.
This interview is truly one of the most dangerous bits of commentary that a major news outlet could possibly telecast. It is unbelievable that anyone with an iota of intelligence could possibly think this would be good on national TV.
I am sure Vladimir Putin is having a good laugh at all of this.
