If you listen to the MSM and their enablers on the left, everyone knows that the MSM, the Democrats and the multi-nationals are rooting for America to go into a recession. They want America to suffer setbacks. Why? Because there are trillions of dollars at stake and they want to see to it that Americans do not earn that money. They want it to stay in their pockets.
This is obscene. These people want America to have a recession so they can make up a story that it is PDJT’s fault. They want to say that he is ignorant, doesn’t understand global economics, etc.
This reminds me of a column that Paul Krugman, Nobel laureate and Trump-hater, penned in May in the NYTimes. As some may remember, PDJT “stormed” out of a meeting with Pelosi and Schumer on infrastructure spending.
Now what constitutes storming out of a meeting is not clear. Only PDJT, Pelosi and Schumer were in this meeting. When Pelosi and Schumer reported PDJT storming out of the meeting, were they trying to lay the groundwork for some kind of impeachment on the grounds that PDJT was mentally unhinged? Or did PDJT just get up and walk out? We will never really know. However, Krugman certainly sensed the potential Democratic narrative with his statement that PDJT left “apparently out of uncontrollable rage…”
Krugman went on to say that the infrastructure push was a very good idea (note this was Trump’s idea). However, it was good that PDJT left the meeting because it would have been hard for the Democrats to resist this infrastructure push. Success here would have been good for the President politically and, according to Krugman, that is not a good thing.
Let’s let that sink in for a moment! This has to be one of the more extreme cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). This appeared to be a new low for people on the left at the time. Krugman was actively supporting not doing something that he felt was very good for the country because of who is President. And he was not reluctant to say so in print. I am not sure what this says about Krugman’s moral understanding of right and wrong.
This leads us back to the point that the Left, the MSM and the multi-nationals want a recession in America. They need a recession to have a better chance of getting a Democrat elected President in 2020. They do not care if Americans are hurt from their attempts to create a recession through fear-mongering. Again moral right and wrong appears to be missing from their calculations.
The August jobs report is in from ADP. It’s always instructive to note that ADP gets its report out faster than the BLS. What does it show?
Reuters reported that analysts had expected about 150,000 private job growth in August. ADP payroll analysis showed continued very strong gains in the private sector market. According to ADP 195,000 jobs were added in August.
This is almost one-third more than what the analysts had predicted. Once again this was “unexpected.” This is the term in vogue when the Trump economy does better than predicted which has almost always been the case. Unemployment numbers are expected to remain rock bottom when they are delivered by the BLS.
There are still “Help Wanted” signs on virtually every restaurant. Bonuses are being offered for good-paying, entry-level factory jobs. Employers are complaining about the lack of potential hires. You are even hearing this on NPR!
This clearly does not sound like a recession is imminent. Jobs growth is still beating analysts’ expectations by a wide margin. What will we hear from the MSM? They went 24/7 for 3 days predicting a recession when we had that very brief bond inversion thing a few weeks ago.
This would be the end of Trump’s re-election chances. Every 300 point loss of the Dow was “further evidence of economic uncertainty”. However, there was not a single comment when the market began recouping the losses.
I am sure that they will find something where they can say that the “economy is in a fragile state” or some other cockamamie statement.
Their mission is to make us fail. They are using all of Saul Alinsky’s tricks to overwhelm and discourage Americans. PDJT is among the few who are fighting for us. We must stand with him or we will lose America.
This comes down to Main Street versus Wall Street. Main Street must win if America is to be preserved. We have a President who is taking action to preserve our nation while keeping his promises.
