Is Joe Biden being cast aside? Have the Democrats decided that he cannot be their candidate just like they did with Bernie Sanders in 2016? Is the “whistleblower” complaint part of a strategy by the Democrats to discredit Biden and edge him aside in favor of somebody else (anybody else except Sanders, of course)?
Biden seems very exposed in all of this. Biden is on video boasting how he got the Ukrainian prosecutor fired. Biden claimed that Obama was in on it. This prosecutor was the one that was looking into corruption in the company where Hunter Biden, his son, was a director. It was reported in 2016 Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, in his investigation of corruption involving Burisma Holdings, a natural gas company, identified Hunter Biden as the recipient of over $3,000,000 from the company.
Many people were appalled by the activities of Spiro Agnew, Nixon’s vice-president before he resigned. Biden, Obama’s vice-president, makes him look like a rank amateur. Rudy Giuliani noted that President Trump’s request of Ukrainian Volodymyr Zelensky that his government investigate Joe Biden was necessary. This was because of evidence that Biden used the office of the vice president to benefit his son Hunter in China as well as Ukraine.
Giuliani confirmed he has records of laundered payments from the Ukrainian energy company Burisma to a Hunter Biden business account amounting to more than $3 million. Giuliani also noted the 2013 trip to China aboard Air Force Two by Hunter and Joe Biden that was soon followed by a $1.5 billion deal for Hunter Biden’s boutique firm with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China.
Giuliani said,
“If Biden gets away with the $1.5 billion, then we don’t have justice in America. It’s an outrageous sale of the vice presidency. China paid for Joe Biden’s office. China didn’t invest in a drug-challenged son with $1.5 billion. They bought the vice president of the United States.”
Giuliani said he has statements from five Ukrainians who said they desperately tried to get the information to the FBI. They were blocked by the US ambassador, who eventually was fired some four or five months ago.
Are the Democrats so myopic that they do not see the big picture here? Apparently the Democrats are so deranged mentally that they will fall all over themselves if there is even the slightest chance that PDJT could be made to look bad.
This has the potential of completely destroying whatever is left of the “Obama legacy.” Remember that Biden has boasted that Obama was in on it. Has Trump Derangement Syndrome progressed to that point in the minds of these people that they have absolutely no idea of what is right or wrong? At this point I am not sure the Democrats could tell the difference between night and day.
In the House Nancy Pelosi announced that she had authorized a “formal impeachment inquiry.” It was all theatre and optics. The flags were a dead giveaway. Where were the flags during the last Democratic debate? There were none since the Democrats do not believe in America. For this announcement Pelosi needed to influence the listener by displaying the flags. Pelosi was trying to pretend she was just doing her duty. What hogwash!
Things today are no different than they were yesterday when Nadler was conducting an “impeachment inquiry.” The only way that impeachment proceeding begins is with a floor vote of the House. Pelosi knows that the votes for that are not there even though the Democrats have a substantial majority in the House. This is all a smoke screen to pretend that PDJT must have done something criminal. This is part and parcel of Pelosi’s attempt to “educate” the public on impeachment. She wants Americans to believe that impeachment is underway. She hasn’t held a vote because she knows it will blow back on her and other Democrats if she does. All she really is doing is adding five more committees to the hearings already underway by Rep. Jerrold Nadler’s Judiciary Committee.
What was also theatre was the idea spouted during the 2018 campaign that the Democrats just wanted to govern. The Democrats have shown over and over that governing is the last thing on the minds of many Democrats. Many are being consumed by their hatred for this President. Some are even foaming at the mouth. However, just because you don’t care for the person who is President, does not mean that he should be impeached.
The Democrats are still acting like sore losers from the 2016 election. Pelosi’s announcement is meant to placate the more lunatic members of her caucus. And perhaps, also to tamp down the possibility of far-left, primary challengers in her House district. For Pelosi it’s all about the power of being the Speaker.
Even with the transcript being released (a big nothing burger), the mainstream media will say we still don’t know anything about that phone call because the whistleblower’s actual complaint has not been released.
It is time for the Democrats and their allies in the media to grow up and start acting like adults rather than spoiled teenagers who did not get their way.
