The Eastbank Little League All Stars visited the White House on Friday to celebrate their Little League World Series Championship. Eastbank was the 1st team in Little League World Series history to lose their first game and come back to win the championship.
At the meeting, Trump asked the team members’ parents if the team could hop on Air Force One for the ride back to Louisiana since Trump was already headed to the state for a campaign rally in Lake Charles.

The team met the President on the tarmac outside of Air Force One and they all ascended onto the plane together.
It’s awesome that this President frequently takes the opportunity to honor ordinary Americans who exemplify honor, winning, exceptional character and performance.
This is another reason I love this President!!! Ideas like this just seem to come naturally to him. Amidst his insane life, amidst all the chaos that is going on around him right now, he takes the time to give hope and the story of a lifetime to some young kids. Once again, the President’s thoughtfulness, kindness and good judgment shine through.
