Over the weekend US special forces executed a raid on an ISIS location in Syria that resulted in the death of ISIS strongman Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Baghdadi was the self-proclaimed leader of ISIS that had conquered large swaths of eastern Syria and western Iraq. He had established an Islamic caliphate in that area.
Baghdadi was responsible for some of the most heinous acts the modern world had ever seen. Baghdadi and his ISIS terrorists beheaded international journalists, buried journalists in the ground and ran them over with tanks. They brutally raped captives and drowned and burned Syrian civilians in cages. They burned a Jordanian pilot alive in a cage and murdered dozens of Coptic Christians on the beaches of Libya. ISIS captured and kept as sex slaves thousands of women.
Much of this was filmed and broadcast over the Internet.
The President announced the killing of Baghdadi.
Last night, the United States brought the world’s number one terrorist leader to justice. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead. He was the founder and leader of ISIS, the most ruthless and violent terror organization anywhere in the world.
The United States has been searching for Baghdadi for many years. Capturing or killing Baghdadi has been the top national security priority of my administration. U.S. Special Operations Forces executed a dangerous and daring nighttime raid in northwestern Syria and accomplished their mission in grand style. The U.S. personnel were incredible.
Friends and relatives of ISIS victims praised the President and the Special Forces for the action. In particular, the parents of Kayla Mueller, an aid worker murdered by ISIS, noted,
“We were deeply touched by what he said. We were grateful that they didn’t mess around and went right in.”
The families found comfort in knowing their loved ones were not abandoned nor forgotten. Also in that the promise made to each of them by President Trump has been kept, respecting and honoring each of them. All of them.
So what was the reaction of the lame stream media who cannot give this President any credit for anything that he has done? The Washington Post ran a sympathetic obituary that described Baghdadi as an “austere religious scholar.” How long and hard did they have to work to come up with that particular moniker?
Really? This man was akin to Adolph Hitler. Where Hitler trumpeted the Aryan bloodline, Baghdadi was intent on imposing an Islamic caliphate on the world. This kind of headline is like saying Bonnie and Clyde were financial entrepreneurs who died from lead poisoning.
But, this is how the left is. WaPo refers to Baghdadi as a religious scholar. I guess Osama Bin Laden, father of 23, was a leader of religious zealots.
Speaking of bin Laden, notice when Obama took out bin Laden there was tons of praise. When PDJT takes out someone just as bad, he knocked off a “religious scholar.” You can’t get any more biased than that.
This is the media trying to manipulate the public consciousness. More and more Americans are signing off from them and finding their news elsewhere. Dan Bongino hit the nail on the head.

“Dear God, keep President Trump, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy’s snares and free from the accuser’s traps. Deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all men will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true.”
