CNN Slapdown

CNN continues to earn its reputation as the Counterfeit News Network.  Becky Anderson of CNNi, based out of Abu Dhabi, attempted to engineer a false propaganda narrative with State Dept. spokesperson Morgan Ortagus on her show.  However, things did not work out the way Anderson wanted.

Keep in mind that many European locals rely on CNN as their sole source for news in and about the United States.   The CNN propaganda umbrella darkens much of Europe.  It is the only US news available in airports, hotels, train stations, etc. Even the local media stations mainly carry CNN news clips in their coverage of events about the U.S.  This gives CNN full propaganda control in much of Europe like RT has in Russia.  If you wonder why polls consistently show anti-American attitudes rising in Western Europe, wonder no more.

As a point of fact, I peruse RT from time to time.  One gets a more accurate picture of American news from them than from CNN.

In this instance, Anderson got her ass handed to her.   Ms. Anderson attempted to create a narrative out of whole cloth of the U.S. being isolated within the international community.  Morgan gave Anderson full chance to spin her yarn – did not interrupt, looked calm, not like she was chomping at the bit, and then when she had the chance, she calmly crushed Anderson.  Ortagus shredded her just giving her the facts and refusing to be deterred or interrupted.  Ortagus pointed out this engineered narrative was not true and that Anderson was ignoring the E-3 Statement of support.

When Anderson tried to recover by saying the Trump’s actions had brought the world closer to a nuclear war, Ortagus slapped her down hard leaving Anderson speechless and unable to follow up.

And all of this was done in a mere 2:39.

Although Ortagus did not use the word, she essentially called Anderson a liar on live TV.  At the end all Anderson can say is “we’ll have to leave it there.”  Probably had some leftist producer screaming in her ear to get Ortagus off the air.

Great job, Morgan Ortagus!
