In case you haven’t noticed (and it’s okay if you haven’t), there is some sort of impeachment trial against President Trump going on in the US Senate. After an interminable delay by Speaker Pelosi, the “Articles of Impeachment” against President Donald Trump were signed and transmitted to the Senate. Of course, it’s the most pathetic and baseless attempt to remove a president that Americans have ever witnessed. Now we have had more than a week of the most boring presentation by prosecutors ever. At least the defense was a bit quicker as they shredded the prosecution’s case.
The whole process is unconstitutional. One cannot have impeachment by decree. Yet that is exactly what Pelosi did. No abuse of power existed. The obstruction of Congress article was manufacturing out of thin air and is a repeat of the attempt to find obstruction of justice by the Special Counsel. Because Speaker Pelosi did this process by decree rather than taking a vote of the House, the “inquiry” had no legal basis to bring subpoenas. Yet, the media trumpeted “obstruction,” obstruction,” “obstruction.” This was yet another attempt to broadcast fake news in an attempt to take down the President. This is an attempted coup by any other name.
To look into the Senate gallery one has to wonder if it is really true that the third impeachment trial of a US President is actually going on. The gallery is mostly empty. The Senators are bored. Most Americans are too busy enjoying the peace and prosperity of President Trump’s first term in office. More than 100,000 Americans descended on Wildwood, NJ last night in the dead of winter to show their support for the President.
Americans have grown so fatigued by the Democratic Party and mainstream media’s clown car act that they have given a collective yawn to Trump’s impeachment.
But Democrats in the House were in a celebratory mood when they passed the articles without a single Republican vote and without all of their own caucus as well. Somehow they think this is a historic event. There was Pelosi’s “Impeached forever” statement. It is a historic event all right. It is the first time in the history of the country that a President was impeached for entirely partisan reasons. Again this is an attempted coup on the part of the Democrats.
The picture of the House members walking the Articles over to the Senate is already being called the “Walk of Shame.”

Plus, the impeachment of Donald Trump has been talked about by the fake news media forever. Frankly, it’s gone on so long that most of us can’t be bothered to tune in for a single moment of the coverage. We’ve heard it all before.
It’s patently absurd. President Trump asked the Ukraine president a question about Joe Biden’s corruption with the prior Ukraine government… and Trump is now being impeached for it.
It is time to end this charade. No more questions. No more witnesses. To all Senators, cast your ballot. And then get back to governing this country instead of living high off the hog on the taxpayer dime.
