One of the things that PDJT has not been bashful about since he started running for the presidency is calling the MSM out for running fake news stories. The left-wing news outlets (that’s most of them) will jump at any opportunity to run a fake story to put PDJT and his administration in a bad light.
The MSM ran stories for two years about Russian collusion without a scintilla of evidence to back them up. They hired former Obama administration people to go on air and claim to have access to classified information proving this. All of this was lies.
When the Special Counsel investigation ended, at least one outlet held a meeting with its editorial staff congratulating them on their efforts and directing them to switch gears to show the public just how racist the President was. Again, no evidence was needed.
However, before that could really get off the ground, along came the Ukraine hoax. This led to the faux impeachment by members of the House suffering from TDS. They were supported throughout this by continuous stories in the media from Democratic “leakers” on the Intelligence Committee. The media never questioned why the rules were changed to allow rumors to be used to make accusations. There is no legal venue in this country where such actions are permitted.
During this there was the effort by ABC News to discredit PDJT’s foreign policy by broadcasting the bombardment of Kurds in northern Syria after a few dozen special forces soldiers were moved out of the way of Turkish and Kurdish forces.
The headline? Slaughter in Syria!
The problem? The footage that ABC broadcast was from a gun range in Kentucky.

ABC News said they “regret the error.” I bet they did. They regretted getting caught trying to mislead the American public again.
With public confidence in main stream reporting at its lowest level ever, along comes CBS News with a report on hospital conditions in NYC. The report was geared to frighten the public about a potential shortage of hospital beds and staff. During the report video footage was aired showing the overcrowded conditions inside one hospital.
The problem? This was not a hospital in NYC. It was an overwhelmed hospital in Bergamo, Italy.
The footage shows a ward crowded with coronavirus patients, stacked together and coughing as doctors, wearing personal protective equipment, dash between them, clearly overwhelmed. As the camera pans around, the footage shows more patients lined up head to foot in hallways and in every corner of the hospital.
CBS News was forced to admit that it made an “editing mistake” after social media users spotted the deception. The deceptive footage was slowly removed from CBS News video sites.
The real question is was this deliberate on the part of CBS News? Social media users noted that the CBS footage seemed to remove bits of the film that show signs written in Italian. Why? How many times did CBS review the clip before using it for the story about New York City?
To quote Hrand Tookman over at LBA,
“The corporate political news media in America is an absolute disgrace that deserves something far less respectful than criticism. They deserve mockery.”
I agree. We should begin to mock the absolute abomination that the corporate media in this country have become. We should continue this endeavor for as long as it takes to have real journalists start replacing the paid-for propagandists who try to pass themselves off as journalists .
