The General Flynn case has often been glacial in its progress in court. There have been long periods where there has been little or no movement. However, now it is like a spring thaw. Things are beginning to move very quickly.
Webster’s defines predatory as “of, relating to, or practicing plunder, pillage, or rapine” and “inclined or intended to injure or exploit others for personal gain or profit.” Without a doubt the actions of those at the highest levels of the Obama administration who attempted to frame General Flynn can be described as predatory.
A little history review may be in order. Paul Mirengoff sums up what happened.
There’s no mystery about what happened to Flynn. Towards the end of the Obama administration, this decorated General and top intelligence official left the government and became the leading critic of the administration’s national security policy.
Compounding his offenses against the deep state, Flynn joined the Trump campaign team. At the Republican National Convention, he turned his speech into, in effect, a pep rally. During that rally, the crowd chanted “LOCK HER UP. “HER,” of course, was Hillary Clinton. Flynn seemed fine with the chanting.
For the deep state, this was the last straw. Once Flynn was named Trump’s national security adviser, it sought revenge. James Comey and Andrew McCabe contrived to sucker him into making false statements to the FBI. (In addition to resenting Flynn’s role in the campaign to defeat his favored presidential candidate, McCabe might also have had other grievances against the new national security adviser.)
Revenge would be achieved by trapping Flynn into false statements and/or getting him fired from his job as National Security advisor. Setting false statement traps is not official FBI business. However, for the Obama administration holdovers, this appears to have been business as usual.
Brett Tolman, a former prosecutor, a former US Attorney and a former counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee, went on Fox and Friends to weigh in with his analysis on recently released notes from the “investigation.”
So, the Deep State saw Flynn as a threat to their continued profiteering off the American people. Flynn knew too much. They had to neutralize anything that he might expose before he actually did that. This was a highly predatory action. It is definitely not within the scope of FBI authority. As PDJT said on Thursday this was outrageous. It should never have happened. And we need to make sure that it can never happen again.
Jim Jordan went on Fox News and ripped Robert Mueller, Chris Wray, Rod Rosenstein and Dana Boente. Everyone of them knew Flynn was framed. Yet no one did anything.
It’s a disgrace and a blemish to every patriot. It’s like living in a third world country. If they can do this to a three-star general, if they can do this to the President of the United States, imagine what they could do to you if they so desired. And the corrupt FBI and DOJ couldn’t have done this without their corrupt mainstream media allies.
It’s worse than we ever thought possible in this country.
The next question has to be what did Obama (We have not had a major scandal in my administration) know and when did he know it?
