Herman Cain

Herman Cain died recently from complications from a coronavirus infection.  Many Americans do not know just how great a person Herman was.  And most will never know since the MSM cannot broadcast his many feats without undermining their narrative that black Americans need help to prosper in this country.  The left, in particular, will vilify his memory precisely because he saw through their “progressive” ideology.

Herman Cain was a highly successful businessman who approached everything he did with enthusiasm.  In 1977, he joined the Pillsbury Company where he later became vice president. During the 1980s, Cain’s success as a business executive at Burger King prompted Pillsbury to appoint him as chairman and CEO of Godfather’s Pizza.  Cain served in that capacity from 1986 to 1996.

Cain was chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Omaha Branch from 1989 to 1991. He was deputy chairman, from 1992 to 1994, and then chairman until 1996, of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. From 1996 to 1999, Cain served as president and CEO of the National Restaurant Association.

Cain was a prolific writer who had a syndicated op-ed column.  He also wrote daily commentaries and weekly online columns.  And Cain was a black conservative.

Black conservatives are relentlessly vilified in the media, smeared by Democrat politicians, and even reviled as traitors to the black race. Herman Cain was no exception. The left cannot afford to have black conservatives showing the way off the plantation for other blacks.

Cain brushed off all that hatred and vitriol with courage and grace.  He was also a voice of wisdom and inspiration for all those who needed his example.  Cain would not cave into the cancel culture.  He reminded people that they are not alone and that they could make a difference.

Herman Cain was an American patriot. He should be remembered as one of the greatest black conservative voices of his generation.  Cain was truly a gift to this country.

Perhaps his greatest gift to America was his campaign for President in 2012.  It was a crowded field that year just as it would be in 2016.  Cain was floundering around the 2%-3% mark in the polls.  While his flat tax proposal (9-9-9) wasn’t original, it was different from the usual tax cut proposals of most Republicans.  Whether it would have worked or not, is immaterial at this point.

What made Cain stand out and propelled him to a double-digit lead over the rest of the field was his pro-America stance regarding illegal immigration.  Cain wasn’t for building a wall.  He was in favor of an electric fence that would stop anybody who touched it.  Cain had touched a nerve in the American electorate.

Cain had suddenly seized the stage with an idea so popular that it could very well have upset the entire apple cart.  The media had apoplexy.  Remember?  This election cycle was supposed to be Romney’s turn to run for President and the media knew it.

Do you think a certain NY real estate mogul was watching this?

The media needed to save Romney’s campaign.  Their first attempt was to limit the amount of time that candidates had answer questions on policy issues during the CNN debate.  Cain and Newt Gingrich responded by pulling out.  They sat down in a different venue and engaged in a real discussion of the issues of the day.  This drew almost as many live internet viewers as the phony CNN debate.  There is no telling how many others watched this later on YouTube.

I am certain that PDJT saw this.  Here were two viable presidential campaigns that refused to play by rigged rules.  It may seem somewhat routine now but it had never been done before Cain and Gingrich did it.  In those days the candidates were at the mercy of the media.

I am also certain that Trump was watching when the fake news media took Herman Cain’s campaign down.  The vicious media smears surrounding a faux sexual harassment claim were too much for Herman Cain and his family.   Cain dropped out of the race, paving the way for Romney to lose to Obama.

PDJT watched and learned from his friend Herman Cain.  Cain’s campaign helped PDJT prepare for his own campaign.  That may be the greatest gift Herman Cain has given this country.  When PDJT came down that escalator at Trump Tower in NYC in 2015, PDJT knew what he was heading into and what would work against a media that is as corrupt as most politicians in Washington.

All Americans could look up to Herman Cain as a great role model if only the media would tell the truth about his life.  But, of course, they won’t.
