This will not be what you thought it would be when you saw the title. It’s not that election polling especially by organizations like CNN, MSNBC, etc., wouldn’t be a great topic to dissect. Hours could be spent on how the fake news media run their polls to get the results that they want.
This is about a different kind of poll. It may very well indicate how voters might feel about what has been happening in the country.
From the beginning of the violence after George Floyd’s death, PDJT has repeatedly offered federal help to cities being ravaged by looting, arson and mayhem. All such offers were declined. In fact, some mayors who were giving people “space to destroy” got their noses out of joint when the President defended federal buildings from the violence.
These Democratic mayors were cheerleaders for the mantra of “Black Lives Matter.” Other elite politicians have knelt in homage to a man who died of a drug overdose.
What has been the result? Aside from the fact that in multiple cities the violence continues, in many cities more than half of the black-owned businesses have been destroyed by looting or they have been lost to the “15-day” lockdowns. “Black Lives Matter” is merely a political tool of the left. With it they hope to “transform” America to a society where they tell everyone what to do.
Does Bill de Blasio (NYC), BLM painter extraordinaire, or Muriel Bowser actually care about the lives they are destroying through the destruction that they have allowed? Recently the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, have begun pushing voluntary gun confiscation. This is in the midst of the sharpest rise in violence in our urban centers in many decades.
PDJT noted last week that “this election will determine the future of private gun ownership in the United States.” Joe Biden is a pliant tool in the hands of the far left. His cognitive decline is obvious to all. At this point, Biden will say whatever is on the teleprompter.
Harris is a different story. Like the imbecilic Beto O’Rourke before her, Kamala Harris advocates gun confiscation; she wants a tyrannical government to go into our homes and seize our legally-obtained weapons of self-defense.
Harris is as far left a candidate who has ever run for high office. She and the other communists behind the scenes mean to create a defenseless society. Instead of citizens, Americans will become subjects.
The people seem to be voting with their money otherwise. Well before Biden’s selection of Harris as his running mate, in the first half of 2020, gun sales have increased by 95%, (ten million guns), ammunition sales are up by 139%.
Dan Zimmerman over at Truth About Guns notes,
Will a majority of Americans choose to be disarmed like the Germans under Hitler, the Russians under Stalin and the Chinese under Mao or will they vote to preserve their constitutional right to bear arms? The astronomical surge in gun ownership these past months tells us that no, they will not vote to lose their Second Amendment right. Self-defense is a human right.
The left, thoroughly deranged by Trump’s 2016 victory, will gladly see our once civil society destroyed if its destruction will see Trump defeated. Their plan is doomed to failure. If gun sales translate to votes, it will ensure his re-election.
I certainly hope that Dan Zimmerman is right.
