The recent presidential debate has been the source of more flat-out lies by the media as they reported on the events of the evening. One such example was CNN “fact checkers” claiming that Joe Biden did not call PDJT “xenophobic.”
To review, when the President closed the border with China over the Wuhan virus, Joe Biden said via Twitter “Stop the xenophobic fear-mongering.”
We are in the midst of a crisis with the coronavirus. We need to lead the way with science — not Donald Trump’s record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering. He is the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health emergency.

During the debate, the subject came up. CNN reported,
“Defending his response to the coronavirus pandemic, President Trump referenced the travel restrictions his administration imposed on foreign nationals who had been in China, then attacked Biden for remarks he had made the same day.”
“Addressing his opponent, Trump said, ‘I closed it, and you said, He’s xenophobic. He’s a racist. And he’s xenophobic. Because you didn’t think I should have closed our country”
CNN claimed PDJT’s comments “lacked context.” They covered for Biden by saying Biden did not know of the travel restrictions. That was a bald-faced lie. Biden made the statement publicly as well as on Twitter. Joe Biden did explicitly call Donald Trump xenophobic. And unless the Democrats want to admit that Joe Biden doesn’t man his own Twitter feed, then he must have known about the travel ban…because Biden responded to a Tweet the president published that referenced it!
Then there was the set-up question that Chris Wallace asked of the President about condemning white supremacy. Twice the President agreed that he has and will. However, both Wallace and Biden talked over PDJT as he answered. PDJT’s answers are in the transcript of the debate.
Immediately the Democrats began running ads saying that the President refused to condemn white supremacy. The media piled on as well. There are no limits on what the Democrats and the media will do. This was Charlottesville all over again. This is disgusting. Make up a story that is the exact opposite of what happened and sell it to the American public.
John Roberts of Fox News was one such reporter. When called out on it, Roberts lost it and had a meltdown. He’s mad that people on Twitter are calling him out for pushing what is clearly a false narrative. His co-anchor is also a bit shell-shocked, which is just hilarious.
