A Report From The Ground

I went to Washington on Wednesday and participated in the rally to support the President and to protest the massive fraud that took place in November.

What was it like?

The rally down at the Ellipse was a totally positive experience.  Anyone who says otherwise is a bald-faced liar.  I travelled in from the Vienna-Fairfax Metro station.  By the time we arrived in the Constitution/ Pennsylvania Avenue area, the car I was riding in was almost full.  Between 80% and 90% were people who were headed to the rally.

I got there about 7:40 AM and there were a tremendous number of people already there.  After wandering around a bit and talking to people, I took up a spot about 50 yards from the Ellipse in front of a giant screen.  This was about 8:45 AM and a sea of people were now there stretching all the way out to the Washington Monument.

People were friendly.  They were decked out in costumes, they carried flags of various descriptions and most wore MAGA gear of some kind.  Everybody was very nice.  One woman even gave me a red MAGA wool cap to help keep my head warm.

Temperature was in the 30’s and there was a breeze that was stronger at times.  It was inspiring to see so many flags waving in the breeze.  No one complained.  We were all there for one reason.  To stand up against the evil that has taken over our country.

This was an old-fashioned love fest.  It was a love fest of patriotic people expressing their deep love for their country and their President. They were also frustrated over the election fraud.  More than once the crowd was chanting “We love Trump.”

There were some speakers before the President came on and there were songs and music in between.  One song was Hallelujah. It gave me chills to hear so many people join in the chorus.  The vibe of the crowd was very positive.

At one point an enormous American flag was being passed over people’s heads.  It is hard to express just how friendly everybody was.  It did not matter where in the country people were from.  And there were people from all areas of the country.  It did not matter how old or young one was, how rich or poor, or whether they were city people or rural folks.

How many were there?  I can tell you it was not tens of thousands.  The entire area from the White House/Ellipse area to the Washington Monument was packed with people.  It was difficult to move around.  There were people on the Mall and up the streets from that area.  One guesstimate that I heard was 1.5 million.  It would not surprise me if that was true.

PDJT’s speech was the same that he has been giving since the election.  The one difference was that he gave very specific numbers for all the illegal activities in the swing states.  There was nothing incendiary or inflammatory about what he said.  At the end of his speech, he invited people to go up to the Capital Building area.

That is what most of us did.  We walked (approx. two miles) at a leisurely pace.  People were singing songs like God Bless America and the Star Spangled Banner.  Again everybody was very friendly.

When we arrived in the Capitol area, people gathered in the areas around the Capitol as well as out to and beyond the reflecting pool.  People were calm and chatty.  One police officer that I spoke with said it was the most peaceful protest he had witnessed.

This is what the media is referring to as an “insurrection.”  It was nothing of the kind but the UniParty and the media believe they can pull the wool over the eyes of Americans who were not there.  We must call this out for what it is.  It is communist-style propaganda to control the common people.

I departed the area around 3:30 PM, heading to the Metro station I had arrived at.  The Metro car I was riding in was full with 80-90% being from the rally.  Again things were calm, friendly and peaceful.  I found out later that some people had entered the Capital.  None of that was ever discussed or suggested by anyone I spoke to.  We were there to let our reps know we were watching their actions.

99.99% of the people who were there were true American patriots.  They were people who believe in the vision of our founding fathers about what this country should be, a country where individuals are free and where liberty is first and foremost.  These were “America First” people who would go out of their way to help you if you needed help.

The idea being put forward by the MSM that these were ignorant extremists and domestic terorists who had been easily manipulated was so far from the truth as to be laughable if it were not also terrifying at the same time.  We are living in George Orwell’s 1984.  Free speech is an anathema to the political class.  Only the privileged few are permitted to speak out to the masses.

This is insanity.

With all the looting and burning and fighting that took place across the country this past year,I feared some of the BLM or ANTIFA might show up and cause problems.
I too had friends in attendance and they said the same thing that you have just said, A VERY PEACEFUL MARCH.
Thank you for your article and setting the facts straight…..I only wish the main stream media would come to their senses and report the news with facts as opposed to twisting the facts for sensationalism.
