Insurrection!

Democrat supporters “stormed” the Georgia State Capitol on Monday after legislators passed a Voter ID requirement for absentee ballots.

The usual culprits advanced the idea that requiring someone to prove who they are is somehow contrary to basic American values concerning free and fair elections.  MSM reporting claimed that voter access was being “rolled back”.  No one in the MSM explained how this was so.  Everyone who could vote previously will still be able to vote.

The problem for the Democrats is that this makes it harder to cheat.

Neanderthal Thinking

Beijing Biden trashed Texas and Mississippi governors for reopening their states and ending mask mandates.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) on Tuesday announced all businesses in the state can reopen 100% and ended the statewide mask mandate.

“So today, I’m issuing a new executive order that rescinds most of the earlier executive orders. Effective next Wednesday, all businesses of any type are allowed to open 100%….also, I am ending the statewide mask mandate.

“Today’s announcement ensures Texans can tap into their own self-reliance to seize the opportunities our state has to offer.  God bless the State of Texas.”

Shortly after Abbott’s announcement, Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves said that starting Wednesday all county mask mandates will be lifted and all businesses will be able to operate at full capacity.

Biden is still trying to satisfy Chinese needs by keeping America closed when China is fully open.  Trader Joe criticized the governor’s actions as “Neanderthal thinking” since COVID variants will soon swoop in to decimate the world.

The only Neanderthal thinking here belongs to the Avatar in the White House who thinks that America is best served by hiding in the basement.

Pinocchio Pelosi

Over the weekend President Trump outed Pelosi for denying 10,000 National Guard Troops to the US Capitol prior to January 6th.

Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) later responded saying claims by former President Donald Trump about offering to station 10,000 National Guard troops outside the Capitol on Jan. 6 are “completely made up.”

The problem.

Back then even the Washington Post had done an interview that documented Pelosi turning down the National Guard on January 6th.  This was because of the “optics” of having the National Guard present.  The summer riots were the source of Pinocchio Pelosi’s discomfort.  Using federal troops to quell civil unrest was unpopular with Democrats.  They would rather have whole city blocks burned to the ground.

The fact that Nancy Pelosi made a bad decision regarding security of the US Capitol is one thing. The fact that she has now lied about it and is blaming her failings on PDJT is grounds for removal from office.

Perhaps she can exit the Washington scene when Trader Joe is removed from office.

Armed Insurrection

Another media-created narrative goes down in flames.  The media has been on a constant drumbeat saying that the incursion into the Capitol building was an armed insurrection.  While one might argue about the definition of insurrection, I have always considered the term “armed” as used here to mean that firearms were part of the activity.

Sen. Ron Johnson exposed another media lie when he asked FBI counterterrorism official Jill Sanborn if law enforcement confiscated any firearms on January 6.

“How many firearms were confiscated in the Capitol or on Capitol grounds that day?” Ron Johnson asked Sanborn.

“To my knowledge we have not recovered any on that day from any other arrests at the scene at this point,” Sanford said.

Ron Johnson pressed: “Nobody has been charged with an actual firearm weapon in the Capitol or on Capitol grounds?”

Sanford replied, “Correct.”

“How many shots were fired?” Johnson asked.

“I believe the only shots fired were the ones that resulted in the death of the one lady,” Sanford said.

More lies from the media lap dogs.  It turns out the only weapons appear to have been held by the law enforcement personnel on the scene.  The only shots fired were directed at an unarmed protester.

Were the media telling us the truth in a backhanded way?  That truth being that the only weapons were held by those protecting the coup plotters.  That might qualify as an armed insurrection.

The Farce

Today is March 4th.  It was the original inauguration date of Presidents.  This was changed during the FDR administration to January 20th.

This date is the original reason for keeping Washington DC under occupation by armed troops.  The following statement says it all.

Potential threats?  Possible plot?  Potential protests?  This means that no such threat, plot or protest has been identified.  They are not even using the term “credible” here.  My guess is that their recent use of this term was shown to be non-sensical.  No threat of any kind has materialized in DC.

This is just another attempt to pull the wool over the public’s eyes.  They will use this to justify whatever military options they have in mind going forward.

The continued occupation of the city is a farce.  But it has now been extended to September.  The Democrats are trying to make it seem normal that military troops need to be visible in our nation’s capital.

This is absurd.
