Is America Next?

Australia’s police arrested 235 people in Melbourne and 32 in Sydney on Saturday at unsanctioned anti-lockdown rallies and several police officers were injured in clashes with protesters.  Protests have continued this week.  The virus is endemic at this point.  Treatments rather than vaccinations and lockdowns are the answer.

Along with other parts of the world, Australia has been grappling with an outbreak of the Delta variant of the coronavirus since mid-June, with both Sydney and Melbourne, and the capital Canberra, in strict lockdowns for weeks now.

This week the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) has declared war against their own leadership, John Setka, for not fighting against the mandatory COVID vaccine.  Australia is still following a fool’s errand in claiming that mandatory vaccination of the public will stop the spread of COVID.

The data that has come out of Israel and Great Britain, both of whom have high vaccination rates, demonstrate the bankruptcy of that idea.  Great Britain is particularly instructive since their vax rate is 83+% and their serum antibody rate is 13+%.  With a 97% coverage of the population COVID should be dead there.  It is not.

The CFMEU is equivalent to our AFL-CIO.  The CFMEU members wanted Setka to stand up for them.  Just as is the case in this country however, the union leadership does not represent the members.  Sundance noted:

When CFMEU union boss John Setka tried to weasel his way out of the confrontation things turned violent. The members have had enough of the lockdowns, ridiculous COVID regulations and now the forced vaccinations. Setka shouted, “What do you want me to do, shut it down?” The members erupted in cheers. Yes, that is exactly what they want.

When Setka refused, things got ugly.  Setka was forced off the street and called the police to protect him from his own union members.  The palpable anger of the union members might have resulted in the destruction of the CFMEU building without a police presence.

Protests continued on Tuesday near the CFMEU building.  In a political move the Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews shut down the construction industry for the next two weeks.   Setka tried to blame his members for the shutdown calling them fascist morons.

Just as we have seen here, Big Tech and the government have joined forces to take away basic human freedoms.  As much as possible the news is being suppressed and a narrative of domestic extremists is being put forward in an attempt to persuade everyday Australians that these are thugs on the street.

Just the opposite is true.  These are good people who have finally decided that enough is enough.  They are no longer being controlled by the fear porn that the media and government has been using to control people.  They have become the resistance.

One thing is certain.  The government elites here are watching closely to what is going on in Australia.  I am certain that some of them are trying to see how additional loss of freedoms could be accomplished here or if the pushback in Australia might portend similar reactions among those who are joining the resistance here.

Resistance is not futile.

You are not alone.

You can make a profound difference.

Godspeed.
