Nineteen CityMD urgent care clinics in the greater New York City area temporarily closed Wednesday due to staffing shortages caused by vaccine mandates.
There is no timeline for reopening.
“To preserve our ability to staff our sites, we are temporarily closing certain locations effective December 22,” a statement on CityMD’s website read. “It is our hope that closing sites now will best allow us to avoid future closures as this surge continues.”
This last sentence makes perfect sense…NOT.
The staffing shortages are a direct result of the insane vaccine mandates imposed by NY’s first female governor who is proving to be just as inept as the last male one. Hospital capacity used to be primarily based on the number of beds. However, the vaccine mandates for medical workers and staff changed that. Then, after the firings and resignations, “hospital capacity” became a staff shortage issue rather than a bed shortage issue.
If COVID were truly the plague to end all plagues, you wouldn’t be firing huge numbers of your medical professionals. Why are healthcare workers among the most resistant groups to the mRNA therapies? What have they seen that makes them resistant? Oh, and why wasn’t this fact publicized? More people who got the jab during trials died than those in control group.
The current governor imposed a ban on elective surgeries as soon as news of the Omicron variant broke around the world. Supposedly this was to allow room in the hospitals for a surge in Omicron patients. Of course, the science data from Africa is showing no such surge. The real reason was to hide the devastating effect that the ridiculous vaccine mandate order was having on hospitals’ ability to provide quality healthcare. One could call this Obamacare 2.0. Are the death panels of the original Obamacare coming to fruition?
The Hochul Administration continues to demonstrate an anti-science approach to COVID-19, including mask protocols in health care and P-12 school settings, correctional facilities and detentions centers, public transportation and at transportation hubs. None of these have worked in the past and will not work going forward. However, New Yorkers must bow down to these insane governmental decrees.
