The administration continues to try to foment war between Russia and Ukraine. The Democrats desperately need a war to distract the public from the absolute, unmitigated disaster that the current administration is.
The two Presidents spoke on an extended call on Thursday.
A call between US President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday “did not go well,” a senior Ukrainian official told CNN…… Biden warned Zelensky an imminent invasion is a “distinct possibility”
On the “long and frank call, Biden warned his Ukrainian counterpart……that an invasion was now virtually certain, once the ground had frozen later in February…..
Zelensky, however, restated his position that the threat from Russia remains “dangerous but ambiguous,” and it is not certain that an attack will take place, the official said.
Zelensky urged his American counterpart to “calm down the messaging,” warning of the economic impact of panic, according to to the official.
Of course, the neocons in Washington have been told they must prop up the polling numbers of the mindless wonder who sometimes sleeps in the White House. They believe that if they gaslight the country enough through their media lapdogs, they can get the public to rally behind the President as he “stands tall” against Russian “aggression.”
Nancy Pelosi is desperately trying to ram through a bill called the “Ukraine Sovereignty Act.” The act is “devoted to ensuring Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.”
Kamala Harris stated, “… part of the posture that we have taken is grounded in the respect and the value we place in sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
Jonathan Finer, White House deputy national security adviser said, “It goes to a very fundamental principle of all nations, which is that our borders should be inviolate, that our sovereignty should be respected.”
Where have we seen this story before? And why doesn’t this apply to our own borders?
The next stage in this made for TV story will be “privileged intel” confirming the imminent threat. As David Stockman has noted, this “…is so blithering stupid that it deserves to be torn asunder limb for limb.”
