Freedom is spreading. The Freedom Convoy trucker protest has now expanded and is starting to hit more U.S-Canada border crossings, while the main trucker convoy remains in downtown Ottawa.
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Canadian authorities say a demonstration involving a large number of vehicles and farm equipment is blocking the Emerson Port of Entry, which is the border crossing on I-29 from Pembina, North Dakota to Emerson, Manitoba, CA.
Manitoba Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) posted on social media that no traffic is getting through either northbound or southbound and the port of entry is shut down.
The Ambassador Bridge connecting Detroit and Windsor remains impeded. This crossing is the busiest international crossing in North America. Couts, Alberta also remains blocked by protesters.
About 60 to 70 vehicles were attempting to disrupt traffic at Ottawa International Airport on Thursday by circling the arrivals and departure terminals. Videos on social media showed vehicles driving around near a street close to the airport carrying Canadian flags and honking.
The border crossing between Blaine, Washington and South Surrey appears to be the next site for border crossing disruption. Northbound traffic is stopped as I write this.
The Freedom Convoy in Ottawa has lost a few trucks. However, the number of trucks there appears to be growing as other truckers show up. More and more of the side streets are filling up with trucks.
Justin “Rainbow Socks” Trudeau continues to smear and denigrate Canadians who are fighting for their liberties and freedoms. This appears to stiffening the resolve of protesters. “I want all these mandates gone, and I’m not leaving until all the mandates are gone. So, I am here for the long haul,” Dylan Friesen, a protester in Ottawa, told CNN on Wednesday. “They can try get rid of us, but we’re not leaving.”

Trudeau has really painted himself into a corner by first calling the truckers racist hate-filled bigots and saying he would never meet with them. Now, as their ranks and support grow, the majority of Canadians want him to do exactly that, meet the truckers and remove the COVID mandates.
The Freedom Convoy truckers have all the leverage in this dynamic. The true irony is the socialist left constantly claiming the “workers of the world unite” mantra as part of their boutique leftism, yet here are the truckers doing exactly that – and the same liberals are decrying the audacity of the ruffians. You really cannot make this up.
Two cities in Europe, Paris and Brussels, have moved to make it illegal to do what is being done in North America. Substantial fines have been proposed for anyone who would join a convoy the likes of which we have witnessed in Canada.
The socialists/communists running these governments are getting scared by the dynamic they are witnessing. Trudeau has lost all control over the situation in Canada. This is being noticed by people in other countries. The reaction to fear is the effort to exert massive control over the public. What is JRST’s next move?
